Dr. Anna Wegleitner, MD

In my opinion, my experience with doctor was traumatic. She did not adjust my hormones after years of low e and high testosterone. In my opinion its very hard to schedule and she doesn't spend much time with you. Not unfriendly but didnt listen to my requests to change hormone to increase my hormone levels. I therefore encountered the consequences of years of low e and high t. I wish she took more time to listen to my needs and not argue about estrogen levels with me during some of the most difficult period of my life. I didnt feel supported in my general health let alone supported with the reason why i am seeing her to begin with. No thanks from a trans girly.

Doctor Wegleitner has treated me for gender dysphoria since late 2018. While we've made attempts to improve our client/patient relationship, I have chosen to see another provider. Dr W repeatedly ignores complaints and turns them around on the patient when her doses are questioned or any, even polite complaint is offered. Dr W can *do no wrong* and it is the patient's other issues or mental health causing their symptoms. My E has been low, T high, hair falling out, body hair growing rapidly, and I've not had the softening of my skin I wanted from hormones. To Dr W, these are all *my* problems consistently for years. She all but refuses to respond to patients complaints. Now that I'm seeing doctor, they were immediately willing to change my meds and commented on how low my E dose was. Dr W said it was "higher".... Do not see this doctor unless you are willing to never complain about your meds being potentially wrong for you.

Dr. Wegleitner is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had, and I've had more than my fair share due to being born with a health condition and developing other related ones over my long life. She listens to me and recognizes me as a team member in my health care instead of trying to play god like so many health care providers do. She genuinely cares about her patients. If there's something that is unusual occurring, she researches it instead of blowing it off. She is a true professional. As a retired psychologist, I am very hard on other professionals in my expectations, but Anna Wegleitner exceeds them all.

I’ve been going to Dr Anna for over 20 years now and in my mind she’s the very best. She asked me many years ago, “when you’re lying in the hospital, perhaps dying, who (doctor) do you want by your side?” That day I knew she was the one I wanted! Thank You Dr. Anna!

She is a great Doctor. She is very good and takes excellent care of her patients.

I saw Dr. W for testosterone for gender transition purposes and it was an incredibly pleasant experience. There was about a two to three month wait for an appointment, but it was well worth it. She was incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and informed. It was nothing like the horror stories you hear from some trans people going to the doctor trying to get hormones. She didn't even require a therapist letter. I recommend her to each and every trans person in the area.

I was referred by a friend to Dr. Wegleitner. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and she has always made me feel entirely safe and cared for. I'm hesitant to move states because I don't want to lose such a great doctor!

Dr. Wegleitner has been my Dr. for 22 years. I trust her judgement completely. I do miss the old practice and staff they were all like a family. The new practice is a little stuffy more corporate not as homey.

Seems to loose my appointments all the time.

She is never available when I have to see her so I always end up going to urgent care.

Love Dr. Wegleitner! She is the best Dr. I have ever had.
