Very Dismissive
I have seen Dr. Barnard for a few years now and each visit I leave feeling that she does not actually care and that I'm wasting her time. I will not be seeing her any more. Any medical issue I bring up with her does not get addressed. She does the absolute bare minimum.

Be Careful
I went in for my annual wellness check (which was covered 100% by my insurance). I have been burned in the past with Dr. Barnard when she brings something up in the visit, and then switches it to an office visit without you knowing. My visit was under 10 minutes because I knew this time to not bring up anything - which is so sad that people feel like they can’t discuss things for fear of being charged an office visit that isn’t covered fully by ins. She refilled one prescription for me, and that was all she needed to flip it from wellness check to office visit. I was not made aware at the time she was doing that - I would have told her not to fill it and I’ll get it from my other dr. Who won’t bill me $100+ for an office visit vs wellness visit. It is shady practice, money hungry, and makes me feel like she doesn’t really have the patients best interest at heart. She is finding ways to bill more money. If you do visit with her be careful what you discuss with her.

Dr. Barnard is the best physician I have ever had! She always takes the time to discuss my concerns, answer any questions, and make herself available for any post-appointment follow up questions. I feel very comfortable speaking to her about any health concerns I have and I know she is keeping up on new developments in the medical field as she proactively brings the topic up at my annual physical. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new primary care physician without hesitation.

I have never had a physician who took such care and concern for me on my first visit. Dr. Barnard is a rock star in my book! I came in with issues that with a former doctor were not corrected and were dismissed. With Dr. Barnard taking the time to listen my issues were addressed and easily fixed.
