Dr. Anne Floyd, MD

She didn't explain what could have happened to my eye. Its all hazy 2 or 3 days after cataract surgery. I wouldn't be able to drive if both eyes get that way. She expected me to have my second eye done by her. She didn't explain why my eye got all blurry. I'm scared so I have to get a second opinion. I need a refund of $1000 I gave them. Then I'm going to another doctor. I can't believe how that place doesn't care. No explanation or anything.

Dr. Ann Floyd was super arrogant, lied to me about dialating my eyes after I had travelled 60miles to see her, and I had eyplained that I need to be able to DRIVE my car back home (another 60miles), and then refused to examine my eyes without dialating stating that she would loose her medical license if she did. SUPER ARROGANT, UNFRIENDLY, UNPROFESSIONAL, already had that impression on my prior 2 visits.

Wonderful physician and surgeon! I have had both my cataract removals and lens replacement done by Dr Floyd. She is so personable and pleasant. She is the best!

Two things stand out:1. I did not find Dr. Floyd to be caring or compassionate, something I found with the other practitioners at Arizona Eye Specialists with whom I've interacted over the years.2. Even though I've seen her on numerous occasions over the past 5 months after my cataract surgery, she did not seem well acquainted the the specifics of my case, even though i had been having some difficulty and thus had had several extra visits.I will not choose to se eher again

I have anxiety. 1st try surgery 2016/ 2nd try 2017, 2018, 2019. 2020.2021,2022...all cancelled due to anxiety. Finaly with help of Dr Floyd I was able to have my left eye surgery Nov 15th 2023 with scheduled surgery Nov 28th 2023for the righteye. I would highly recommend Dr Floyd to everyone, Another plus is Kim Rocha, Surgery Scheduler, A Great team!!!

The way she handled both procedures and the crew she had behind her was impeccable. I had some concerns at first and she put all those to bed.

The office is equipped with the most up-to date technology, thus enabling the doctor and her staff to accurately diagnose and treat an extensive range of eye conditions. Dr Floyd provides a comprehensive diagnosis and is very clear when presenting alternative treatment to the patient.Her staff of Jess, Christina, Adanieva and Kim are excellent.

The staff were all very nice and friendly. DR floyd was exceptional, very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions.The surgery scheduler was nice and good at her job.The surgery was easy and everything went smooth.I highly recommend this Doctor and practice to anyone needed cataract surgery.

I arrived at the Thunderbird location in Glendale, AZ on 10/6/22 to be seen by a total of three staff members, for a consultation with Dr. Floyd. Each staff member did not introduce themselves to me, including Dr. Floyd. Dr. Floyd's manner is brisk and lacks sympathy, as she examined my vision for possible cataract surgery. Her reply was "eye glasses do not constitute cataract surgery" and her diagnosis was dry eyes, with no treatment, only to be seen in one year. I visited the optometrist 01/16/23 to be told the left eye has progressed to require cataract surgery, and dry eye diagnosis was discovered and treatment prescribed. I canceled the October 2023 follow-up appointment with Dr. Floyd, and have scheduled an appointment with a ophthalmologist, a doctor who came highly received and recommended.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes one week apart. Both went very well with no pain during or after surgery. My sight has improved immensely. I would recommend Dr. Floyd to anyone looking for an excellent cataract surgeon.

Dr. Floyd removed a cataract from my left eye and implanted an intraocular lens. The surgery was performed about 3 weeks ago (11/18) and I am thrilled with the results. No complications, no discomfort. I have very good distance vision as well as the ability to read most of the stuff on my smart phone without readers. I only use the readers for very fine print or poorly lighted situations.
