Dr. Anthony Celifarco, MD

I had an upper and lower endoscopy and he is also my Gastroenterologist. If you are having any issues see him. he is professional and kind. Thank you Dr Celifarco for 15 years of trust and always including me in my plan of care.

I have been a patient for about 30 years. Dr. Celifarco has always been available to answer questions and has been thorough in his testing as well as clear in his answers. At one time, when I had a condition that was difficult to diagnose, he persisted and ultimately obtained insurance authorization for a newer test that found the root of the problem. I highly recommend him.

Terrible experience! Wouldn’t recommend him to clip my dog’s toenails. The med degree from universidad de Mexico explains everything. Dr’s are great when procedures go as expected. Throw in a minor curveball and you’ll see their true colors. When alerted that patient was having problems after a standard procedure they were directed to head to their local urgent care! Thanks Doc That says it all.

Do not use his doctor. I have been so mistreated by this doctor and his staff. As a new patient, I went through an endoscopy and then never heard from the doctor again. It has been one month and he has never reviewed his findings or spoken to me no matter how many times I've left messages for him. I still don't know the results of the testing. He never even asked me to set up an appointment to see him. It seems that his only interest is getting money from Medicare and insurance companies.

I have been a patient of Dr Celifarco for 10 plus years. He is a great gastroenterologist and I would highly recommend him to anyone who would ask. He takes his time with all his patients, listens to his patients concerns and always makes you feel at ease. I would again, highly recommend him.

I have been under care of Dr. Celifarco and his team for many years. I have Crohn's Disease and I hit the lottery when I found this fantastic team. I can't say enough but I view Dr. Celifarco and his magnificent team @ their office & the team at St. Francis as being extended family. I truly recommend him for my family, close friends and those who are at their end with despair. Can't say enough of them for keeping me positive and moving forward with my situation. All the best! After several months of abdominal pain and several tests by other doctors, none who diagnosis my problem. I then saw Dr. Celifarco. He said he was sure it was my pancreas and sent me to Sloan Kettering. The doctors there confirmed his diagnosis and removed my pancreas. I was told that his decision to send me there saved my life. That was 17 years ago. I still see him once a year. I'm in excellent health and very active.
