Dr. Anthony De Beus, MD

First visit was today. Was there about 3 hours but waited just a few minutes between tests and injections. Staff was top notch. Dr de Beus was caring and explained things a great length. He is now in Missouri- sorry Arizona.

I had 6 months of injections to my eyes for macrodegeneration by him. He was very astute & intelligent and answered my questions and made me feel confident in his care.

I had my final visit with Doctor De Beus yesterday . Class act caring compassionate strait forward approachable . A loss for area in vision care . A huge gain . Where he goes . Thanks Doctor I’m sure here you will be hugely missed. Good Luck

A two-hour eye appointment is too long.

Dr. DeBeus was one of a kind - he will greatly missed! He was gentle - soft spoken - takes time with his patients!! THANKS for being my doctor!!

Southwestern are the best

The doctor cares, listens to the patient and answers their concerns gracefully.

SW Eye is very good at their profession but it sometimes gets so busy that it can take hours to finish your appointment.

Dr. a. DeBuse has provided me with excellent care for more than five years.

All of the office staff was friendly and very professional. I am grateful that Dr. DeBeus accommodated me because I was coming from out of town. Surgery staff was also highly professional! Great team of people!

I’ve been very satisfied with Southwest Eye Clinic since I started being a patient back in 2014. My previous eye doctors were in Denver and Cheyenne because we lived in Denver. However the doctor in Cheyenne retired and his replacement was a much younger man who would ask me questions about my vision but wouldn’t let me fully answer the questions. So I became very frustrated and angry with him. One day we got into a very furious shouting match and I was determined to “ kick his ass “ the next visit. During the argument I had to still receive my two shots in each eye from him. He did ask if I still wanted it and I said yes. I said “ I trust you’ll be a professional “. I never had anything remotely like that doctor with anyone from Southwest Eye Clinic. Dr. Debeus was the doctor who finally found my torn retina and had his surgical staff treat me on a Saturday morning in Scottsdale. And I was the only patient. My wife and I were extremely grateful for their dedication to saving me and their other patients on their days off. I know my retina couldn’t wait. But I was having trouble with it for about 4 months before Dr. Debeus found it as my problem. He listens to me which now that I’m “the old man “ is more important to me since in my past I never demanded total respect. It was my character back then. Everyone is very welcoming and pleasant to be in their care. I’ve recommended your clinic to retirees who come to Yuma for the winter or to live year round. And I will still do so in the future. Just don’t “ cut me off when I’m answering your questions. That’s all I ask and need. Maybe a tequila bar in the lobby would be nice. Maybe some single malt Irish whiskey also. They might make the eye dilation work faster. Just sayin …

Too long waiting times

The wait was very long, otherwise apptmt was very good.

Long wait to only see the doctor for less then 1 minute!

Dr. De Beus is outstanding. I would recommend him, without hesitation, for anyone with vision issues.

Dr. deBeus is an incredible doctor. His skills and kindness help make difficult situations easy to handle with confidence and security.
