Four years ago I developed a cataract in my right eye. I was really concerned about doing anything about it and lived with the cataract until my whole right eye was completely fogged over. Finally I made an appointment at Dr. DeRosa office. He examined my eye and told me that I would need surgery to correct my sight. Needless to say I was nervous and worried about the operation on my eye. After the operation I was very surprised at how easy it went and how good I could see again. Recently my left eye developed a cataract. The surgery on that eye went very well. I'm a senior citizen and have worn glasses since I was in college. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes and after 50 year of wearing glasses I no longer need them.

He is an excellent physician his specialty in eye surgeries is above and beyond anyone else. He did cataract surgery for me, removing the cataracts and putting in intra ocular lenses in each eye so I can see as well as I did when I was a child! The lenses are for near and far vision. Right eye is for close or near vision, and the left for far or distant vision. He is the best. Great personality, and he cares for allhis patients.

Dr. DeRosa is very professional and approachable. He is knowledgeable and uses his time with you to educate you about any disease you have and the impact it may have on your vision . He is compassionate and listens to you.

Dr. DeRosa has performed corrective surgery on both of my eyes with excellent results in each case. He is patient and answers all questions completely. He explains everything to you in an easygoing manner - makes you feel like a friend or a peer instead of a patient. That is a plus but the bottom line is that he is an excellent surgeon.
