Dr. Anthony Ditomaso, MD

Dr. D performs multiple colonscopy procedures back to back to back. I was told that once I awakened from my procedure, I would be escorted to a conference room to receive my results. I was not fully awake from the proprofol when he entered my recovery area NOT a private conference room. At first he gave me the WRONG results then he gave me only PARTIAL results. At home, I discovered an unusual injury. His medical assistant would not schedule a follow-up appointment. She instructed me to call him on his cell. When he returned the call he had me on speaker phone. I couldn't hear him well, but I could hear the steady beep of a monitor. Was he with a patient? At first, he actually blamed me for the injury. When I re-described the location of the injury THEN he offered to reexamine me the next day. At this point my faith and trust in him is gone. I feel like I was just a dollar sign. EVERY patient deserves the doctor's, nurses, & staff's undivided attention and respect; to not be rushed.

Ditomasso as a doctor is great. What is lacking is quality office staff and patient support. Phone calls go unreturned which is frustrating as you are calling for and needing medical help. Maybe Millenium should either hire more doctors or limit how many patients a provider can handle? I doubt that will ever happen. It’s all about the almighty dollar instead of patient care.

I had an endoscopy procedure and was SO nervous because I’ve had trouble in the past with waking up. Dr. DiTomaso and his team were amazing and reassuring and everything went great. He is super knowledgeable and gave me some contacts for other specialists I need to see as well.
