Dr. Anthony Gross, DO

On July 22, 2022, I received a letter dated July 18, 2022 stating that “The Santa Cruz Valley Physician Group - Primary Care will be closing the clinic and will no longer be able provide medical care effective August 19, 2022. Dr. Anthony Gross will be available until that time for your health care needs”. On July 26, I called Dr. Gross’s office to ask why he hadn’t called in the prescription that he was supposed to have called in a week earlier only to hear a recording saying the office was permanently closed. I called the Physician Group and received the same recording. Dr. Gross had previously assured me that he would be my doctor, and take care of my upcoming prescriptions and health needs until August 19, 2022. Dr. Gross has left me high and dry trying to get my prescription(s) filled and find a new PCP.

I've had no problems at this clinic. Sometimes it's hard to get through to a live person, but I usually call several times. Dr. Gross listens to everything I say and helps me with referrals to get my medical issues taken care of. He also takes the times to explain what is going on and has gone beyond to help me get well. He's been a professional doctor and has truly helped me. I'm sad he's leaving Green Valley.

Referral from a friend. Dr. Gross Family Medicine and Sports Medicine was fantastic! He was engaging, informative and very personable. There was an immediate connection. We discussed my overall health, the few medications I do take and suggestions on improving and enhancing my athletic performance for a 61 year old. Moreover, the staff at the clinic were great! A much improvement over another provider and clinic in the area, I was previously seeing. My interaction with his staff that day and a follow-up to clarify my future labs and appointment was delightful to be able to get efficient and courtesy attention. Thumbs up for a great experience and a fantastic support staff. My wife will be seeing Dr. Gross, too.
