Dr. Anthony Merrill, MD

Kidney Dr. Recommend Dr.Merrill, I found him to be distant, when I told him my kidney Dr. said he could treat pain in my gut area, he increased my Dicyclomine, by (1) pill, and told me to come back “as-needed”, then later that day office called and said to go back in 3 mo. !!!

He does not see patient in the office, he only does telemedicine. How do you treat a stomach pain trought the telephone??? I was diagnoses with crohns and he did not prescribe any medication.

Dr Merrill was AMAZING! What a wonderful personality. He was funny and put me at easy about a procedure no one wants to have. Still very professional and I formative as well. I was beyind pleased with both him and his lovely staff. Fantastic!

Would not recommend this doctor!

Terrible experience with him a few years ago at Arrowhead Hospital. He missed a diagnosis and sent me home when I was bleeding from my anus. He diagnosed hemmorids and sent me home. Two days later I was in Honor Health Hospital having an emergency operation for an abscess which nearly killed me. I had to have a colostomy and spent 60 days in care facility and many mor surgeries.

I felt he was very rude to me telling me to go to weight loss place that I obviously wasnt able to get weight off by myself. He talked to my driver about my procedures without my consent while I was still trying to wake up, then when I asked him questions he didnt answer me. I paid what my insurance told me I owed for the procedures and doctor which I paid before procedures then they start harassing me with bills saying I owe more which when I called my insurance they told me know I paid all I was supposed to pay now they are threatening me with collection agency. Never referred this place or doctors to anyone.

I have referred friends and family to Dr. Merrill. I became a patient of his by going through the ER at Arrowhead Hospital. He was was amazing! Extremely willing to go the distance for at least me, so I know he must have been just have committed to his other patients the same way. He not only was a fantastic Physician but had wonderful bedside manners WHICH is so rare to find! I was a patient of his for 4 plus years. His staff was always so delightful, kind, extremely accommodating.

He is by the far the most thorough and attentive doctor I have ever seen. I was impressed with his empathy and bedside manner.

Dr. Merrill and staff were very professional, friendly and made me feel very comfortable in the office and during my outpatient procedure. They also made my husband feel like he was a part of the process. I really appreciated that!

Dr. Merrill is very knowledgeable when it comes to GI issues. I saw him for the first time in May 2016. After a very short wait in the lobby, I was ushered into the exam room by a wonderful and very professional nurse/PA. She took my vitals and necessary information and in short order Dr. Merrill was in the room. He explained in great detail (with exquisite bedside manor) what I needed to do to get my issue corrected. He is an extremely personable physician. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Merrill is a fantastic Dr. He is very passionate about his job He will make you feel at ease. I highly recommend this Dr. He does his follow ups like the good old days where the Dr. Themselves would call and speak to you personally. What a great guy.

Dr. Merrill was great from the first consult through the actual Colonoscopy. He definitely made me feel much less stressed and more comfortable with the procedure and the process leading up to it. Absolutely no issues and no pain or discomfort at all!!!

Dr Merrill is awesome. Great personality and has a great bedside manner. Followed up with me to make sure I was okay and gave me ample opportunity to listen to my questions and concerns.
