Dr Romano does not push you to have surgery unless that is the only thing that will help. He tried a couple of things that did not really work and then gave me a pill that has helped a lot. And with my last appt. since it has helped he decided that i only need to come back if I have any problems.

It was quite quick the appointment, no waiting at all and the waiting room was packed, took me back right away and did X-ray’s.

Dr Romano treated me for metatarsal fractures with removable surgical pins. The entire experience has been very positive. He was very thorough in explaining the treatment options. I am on my feet 9 hours a day walking far distances and lifting boxes at my job. I have had pain in my foot for 3 months now. It felt like i had a stone under my foot and every time I moved pins and needles were jabbing me. I had no idea what it was and was worried it was something serious. My 5th metatarsal bone on my foot cracked in a fall. He showed me the x-ray and explained the damage very clearly. Wrapped up my foot, basically told me to go easy on it, and that was it. He’s very personable and professional.

I had a pre-existing injury from a near fatal motor vehicle accident since 2002. I'm forever grateful for Dr. Romano's confidence, knowledge, patience and skills as a reconstructive surgeon.

My husband had an inflamed ingrown toenail and we were leaving for a monthlong vacation in 2 days. He had never seen Dr. Romano before. They squeezed him in to his busy schedule and took care of my husband who is a diabetic with neuropathy. He was kind, explained the procedure, and very personable. Very pleased.
