Dr. Wright performed my gastric sleeve. Dr. Wright is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. He ensured my mind was at ease before and after surgery. Dr. Wright wasn’t bothered by my questions and never rushed our encounters. I would recommend him to others without hesitation. As wonderful as Dr. Wright was I can’t forget his magnificent office staff. The ladies in that office are marvelous. Checking in was never an issue. Sherri went above and beyond to gather documentation from all my referrals. Sherri kept me updated during the whole process. Sherri also went out of her way to meet me face to face during my final appointment before surgery just to wish me good luck. Michelle handled my insurance authorization flawlessly and scheduled pre-op as well as my surgery efficiently. Overall I couldn’t be more satisfied with the surgeon I chose and the staff that supported me. Thank you for everything Dr. Wright and staff.

Dr. Wright is one of the best doctors I have known in my 63 years. Recently had surgery by him. It took place three weeks ago, and I have had no complications and recovery has gone better than I could have hoped for. And all the comments about him taking his time with you, listening, explaining, are all true. I recommend him to anyone needing general or bariatric surgery!

The staff here at HCA Florida Capital Surgical Specialists are so nice and friendly! They have gone above and beyond while helping me on my journey. The network they have from other doctors within HCA Florida to specialists outside HCA, are amazing and take care of you.

Very ill & needed guidance as to next steps(surgeries,etc)so I saw Dr. Anthony who seemed to genuinely want to help. He was going to get records,review & go from there. Only,I didn’t get a F/U appt or even a call back to lmk “he can’t help you”…I had to call over a month later to be told this by his staff!!!! Very,very disappointed!

Dr. Wright performed my cholecystectomy. He is absolutely phenomenal. He spends as much time as you need to answer all of your questions and has such a great bedside manner. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. You’ll be in amazing hands under his care!

Less than two weeks into my emergency appendectomy and I feel as good as new. I don’t even think I’m going to have visible scars! Very thankful Dr Wright was on call the day I went to the ER. I was frantic still trying to digest the reality of an emergency surgery but he helped put me at ease and my husband commented how professional and pleasant he was when he came to speak to him after the surgery.

I've had two surgeries by Dr. Wright. He is an excellent surgeon and great guy. His bed side manner is the best I've seen in a doctor. He spends as much time as needed with me to make sure my needs are met (and exceeded) and to make sure I am well informed. I highly recommend Dr. Wright. His staff is great, too.

Went to see Dr. Wright about my gallbladder and the possibility of having it removed due to gallstones. Dr. Wright fully explained all options and recommended an ultrasound specifically for the gallbladder. He was never in a rush to leave the exam room and spent more than enough time with me to put my mind at ease and answer my questions throughly. Dr. Wright is truly a caring and compassionate physician. I only wish there were more doctors like him out there.

He was friendly and explained the procedure in a very down to earth manner. His bedside mammer is supurb!
