Dr. Antoine Khoury, MD

After meeting Dr Khoury two times and reviewing stress test results He told me I would live another 20 years. I then responded to Dr Khoury that 'That's great news BUT My Heart has still has pain in it and I would like an angiogram. He said 'We frown upon that ' and I said ' Who is we ' and he said He and his group' . He told me to go home and see your family doctor and take some Lyric .Within 3 weeks I suffered a widow maker. An angiogram would have detected blockage in my main artery. It would have been nice to have had the angiogram .

I have a mild underlying heart condition. I went in for a follow up consult. He rushed me through the whole appointment. I have an Eating Disorder diagnosis in my charts but yet the staff made me tell them my weight from the scale that I was standing on. The doctor told me that my shortness of breath is likely from being out of shape. He said I needed to exercise more. I told him that I literally walk all day my job and I'm on my feet 7.5 hours a day 5 days a week. I walk almost 5 miles a day. I didn't feel comfortable telling him about my Eating Disorder. He cut me off in the middle of my sentences and I left feeling like I was not listened to.

The doctor seemed rushed, cut me off when I was talking. He didn't explain how he reached his conclusions. I left the appointment feeling like my questions were not answered and I need to make a second appointment with a different doctor.

100% Idiot. He's just running the typical cardiology playbook and wanting to Rx a another BP med and a statin. He didnt ask any questions about diet/lifestyle, stress, sleep, or any other important health factors. He wasn't prepared for the appointment, we drove an hour and he didnt even have the results of the CT angiogram which was the purpose of the consult. He showed up wearing two surgical masks and a face shield, what a clown. He's a horrible doctor. I recommend everyone go elsewhere before your stuck in a cath lab getting unnecessary stents while he buys his 4th house in Florida.
