Dr. Antonio Rivera, MD

I have been being treated by Dr. Rivera for more than 10 years. He is extremely caring, kind and knowledgeable. He takes his valuable time to listen to every single concern I have about my health issues. He is by far the best doctor that I have seen in the many years that I have been dealing with multiple physical issues. I have even referred my husband to this amazing doctor. My husband is just as impressed with the treatment he has received. Dr. Rivera's staff is amazing also. We have referred both friends and family members to Dr. Rivera they are happy with their experiences with him also.

Every time I see Dr Rivera and say 'I hurt here' he tells me that's not the problem it's this. He has been dead on every time! I trust him implicitly. .

Dr. Rivera and the staff were kind and courteous! Dr Rivera explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend his office to anyone that needs this type of service.

Dr. Rivera is a very caring doctor and takes time with his patients. My insurance was not accepting him and I refused to go somewhere else. I went an entire year to him being self-pay until my insurance changed again. This doctor has a heart of gold and loves his profession.

The doctor discharged me because his medical assistant, made significant errors regarding my medications/prescriptions.

The doctor is ok. He goes off on tangents occasionally, which leaves the patient to deal with the staff. The staff is intolerable. No follow up (prior authorizations) no return phone calls or emails. Definitely not worth the trouble. Pain management is difficult enough without the nonsense. Find another provider.

Dr. Antonio has seen me for years as I struggle with multiple illnesses. He has chased every path with me to find diagnosis and pain relief. He is patient, understanding, helpful, intelligent, skilled, and kind. His sense of humor helps make hard news easier to bare. I know he is always in my corner to help me fight through my Illnesses. His nurse is on point and assists me with anything I need.

I have been seeing Dr Rivera for many years for pain associated with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. His knowledge of medicine and the expertise he provides to his patients is second to none. I trust Dr Rivera with my pain management and appreciate the time he takes to listen to my symptoms, have the right testing (and re-testing) performed to determine the root cause of my pain, explain the testing results as well as any medical conditions and how to manage those conditions. He cares about his patients and treats them with the respect, compassion and the care that they deserve.

Dr.Rivera is the best, very understanding along with his nurse Brittney. They take the time to listen and navigate the patient for the best way to get back to normalcy in their life. I would highly recommend.

I tell everyone that Dr Rivera is the smartest doctor I’ve ever known. He can pick out something wrong with me just by watching my moves. I also Thank Our Lord everyday for leading me to him 10-11 yrs ago. He has helped me by knowing how to treat my problems. Definitely not a doctor than hands out prescriptions. We sign a contract with him and he tests monthly to make sure no one needing controlled substances will ever break contract, if someone should they are immediately dismissed as his patient. He’s the best! I have so much respect for Dr Rivera ????????

I wish there was a way the community could vote on the best doctor in each type of practice. Because on the Physiatrist section, Dr Rivera would be #1. I thank God all the time for him. He isn’t just a doctor that hands out scripts. He really cares about his patients. He actually found something serious I had, when not even my GP could. He’s a wonderful person.

Dr. Rivera and staff are a gift from God. I’ve been going to the practice for almost 9 years. Dr. Rivera is so genuine about wanting to help. He’s a knowledgeable doctor but also an amazing human being.

Dr Rivera is very kind and considerate. He has a kind heart. I started going there with my sister- in-law not to long ago. I have been looking for the perfect Dr. For 6 yrs. and I found him. Dr Rivera works hard at Diagonsing your condition . He takes the time to listen to you.He never rushes your visit. He may be the right Dr. For you! Thank- you Dr Rivera !!

I have been seeing Dr. Rivera for over 8 years. During that time, FL state law began requiring patients taking narcotics to see their pain mgmt dr monthly. I often have a longer wait time these days because of that. That is because he is never willing to sacrifice the time and attention needed for any patient. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to adjust what isn't working. Status quo is not accepted until you are where you want your pain to be. He won't stop searching.
