Dr. Anuj Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is not knowledgeable and is not concerned with his patient's well-being. He has a very bad reputation in the healthcare community. He will recommend unnecessary procedures which are harmful to the patient. The more procedures and surgeries he performs, the more money he makes. Please beware! He does not do his due diligence and is extremely careless with his patients resulting in life-threatening results. Please stay away from him.

His Apex facility treated me very badly and he didnt care.They turned me away and refuse to honor appointment for procedure.

Great Doctor

Horrible doctor. He takes advantage of older patients and just wants to make money from doing more procedures. He will claim he explained a procedure to an older patient and had them sign a consent form even though he knows the patient is forgetful and has another caretaker. He doesn’t care to inform family of any checkups or procedures on the patient and has a big ego. Don’t harm yourself by going to him, any other doctor will be 100 times better

Dr.Shah is a best in class physician! His office is warm and has a neighborhood feel with caring and personable team.However he balances this with a-too-the-point care strategy that is efficient while still being thorough and comprehensive. His team is the perfect blend of intelligent and caring. Would highly recommend for any of your cardiovascular needs!

We were told to wait and later were told doctor had an emergency and he has left. This has happened twice. Staff will not even inform us. We had to ask about how much time it will take and at that moment we were informed that doctor had an emergency procedure.All the procedures are well planned in advance so i do not understand what type of this procedure/surgery is this.

Do not believe all of these high ratings.... this doctor is known in the healthcare industry as providing very poor medical care. He has a public relations machine behind him to create a different narrative and the high reviews are part of it. Please find another doctor.... he is all about billing and not looking out for the best interest of the patients. The other reviewer questioning his staff is correct. I don't know how there can be so many corrupt and immoral people out there, but I don't know why they don't report what they are seeing.

This doctor should not be allowed to practice. Shame on his staff for not reporting him ! God is watching them! This man does not care about his patients and has an assembly line going to make money off of them. He does not provide good care. He rushes through appointments, does not listen to you, and rushes through procedures. He does not do the necessary work to provide safe care. He is careless, rude, arrogant, and DANGEROUS to patients. He is a disgrace to the medical profession. Please find another doctor and be safe.

First of all I have never been seen by Dr Shah… He’s probably out getting accolades to get more plaques on his walls..On my last interaction/ phone conversation regarding clearance for my colonoscopy the day before with Dr B and an associate whose name started with an S a female was very condescending in her speech and tone … I had a dolloping on the 25th … they canceled that … I will be seeing a different Cardiologist this week… Dr Shuild and Carlos were the best out of all of them…

I live in Paterson but my doctor referred me to the location in newark but later found that I’m closer to the Nutley location, and I’m so glad I came here! Love how they treat every patient like family they’ll do anything to make you comfortable. Dr. Shah is so friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

The reviews say it all! Friendly staff and best doctors in the state. They offer Uber rides, meals, drinks to patients who need to stay for hours for procedures. They made me change my opinion about hating doctor’s office.

I visited Dr. Anuj in his Nutley location, his staff is the best they go out of there way to help and are very patient. Dr. Anuj is very knowledgeable and will explain every step of the process so you won’t feel rushed

They have a great atmosphere and the staff there is great always smiling. Would recommend to anyone but call ahead to know if they accept your insurance!

Me & my husband see Dr. Shah for vascular treatments & He’s offered and worked with us like no other doctor, he has an amazing team to top it off it’s always top notch service I recommend him to all family & friends, thank you to the apex team you guys are amazing!

Terrible service. I asked before every visit about my out of pocket costs and they told me every time that insurance would cover my procedures in full. I assumed then that the procedures were covered fully under my insurance and I would not expect a bill. After getting the initial checkup visit and then EKG/Stress test done, I finally get a $400 bill. Insurance didn't cover anything and I had to pay everything out of pocket. Thankfully I got wind of this before I got the at-home heart monitor; that would have cost an additional $700. I am now trying to get this bill paid and it's taking multiple calls week after week to get ahold of their billing department.

I just like everyone and the Doctor is very polite and understanding of my condition.

The office is very clean and the nurses are very nice and doctors are on time. Nicassya is very nice and helpful.
