Dr. Anusha Belani, MD

I was in the hospital for 12 days and Dr. Belani provided professional and excellent care. She was a real advocate for me and went out of her way to make sure I was receiving proper care from staff. She was empathetic, listened to me and explained what was happening in terms I could understand.

I was admitted to Frederick Health Hospital after a fall at home. They discovered I had a kidney stone. It was initially thought that it was small enough that it would pass, but after two days, Dr. Belani came back in and said that something was wrong. I had been in the hospital for two days on a strong anabiotic and had not improved. She checked it out, came back and said, “we need to do something right away” and she called my Urologist and had me in surgery at midnight on a Sunday night. There was a blockage and I had sepsis. She saved my life. Three months earlier I had lost a friend with the exact same thing, so I was very thankful to have such a knowledgeable and caring doctor watching what was going on with me. I am so grateful to her and the Lord for taking such good care of me. Frederick Health Hospital is very fortunate to have such a great physician on their staff. Thank you to Dr. Belani and all the hospital staff who cared for me.

Recently, I was admitted to Frederick health system because I am a cancer patient, and my blood counts are quite low, and I am immunocompromised. I was fortunate that Dr. Bellani saw me several times in the hospital, watched me very carefully, and prescribed the appropriate antibiotics. When she visited me, she was extremely thorough, compassionate, patient, and extremely observe of my symptoms.I cannot say enough positive comments about Dr. Belani!

I have been going to Dr. Belani for better than 20 years now. She is a kind and considerate doctor. She takes care of the little details and I enjoy going to see her. She maintains a complete record and stays in constant contact with my primary doctor.

I was particularly impressed with three things. First, she was so well prepared for this initial visit. She personally contacted the referring physician and had made notes on the various reports that she received from other physicians and test results. Second, she listened to questions and concerns and responded clearly. Third, she described how the present concerns might impact me in the future.

Dr. Belani worked in conjunction with my family doctor to identify a condition that had been misdiagnosed by hospital staff. She was very actively involved in initiating diagnostic procedures that correctly determined the cause if my illness. She worked in conjunction with other specialists to develop and implement a treatment plan that led to my recovery.Dr. Belani was a daily visitor to check on my status and follow up with needed diagnostic testing during a nearly two week hospitalization. She worked with other medical specialists to set up a long-term at home treatment plan to assure recovery.Dr. Belani was always available to answer questions, and rapidly respond to other medical issues that would arise.

I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor in 32 years.

Dr. Belani is one of the best physicians at Frederick Health. She has a broad knowledge of infectious diseases. She is highly respected by the hospital doctors and staff. She has diagnosed my condition and treated them a number of times. I highly recommend Dr. Belani.

Worst godlike and bedside manner i have seen in 30 years. I would RUN from this doctor. Poor knowledge of latest medical.

Dr. Belani treated my husband for over 10 days in the hospital and exhibited complete professionalism, a no nonsense approach and was very thorough. We credit her swift action and dedication to helping him heal without additional issues and after discharge from the hospital where others in the profession did not follow instruction or follow through, I turned to Dr. Belani who once again took initiative to guide us. I would never see another Dr. in this field of medicine now that we've met and seen what this Dr. is about.

I have seen Dr. Belani on two separate occasions. Wait time is minimal - 5 to 10 minutes. The front desk staff is friendly, conversational and efficient. Dr. Belani is very thorough, professional and personable. After each appointment, Dr. Belani also met with my family to discuss my progress, upcoming appointments, and any health concerns. I see many doctors for various health issues and I would rate Dr. Belani as one of the best I've seen. I highly recommend Dr. Belani for treatment.

She saved my grandmother's foot from having to be taken off. She was the only DR at FMH who knew what was going on with my grandma. I had the pleasure of having Dr Belani as my doctor while I was in the hospital in Fredrick and she took exception care of me to make sure my infection was treated rite and taken seriously. I’ve had other doctors tell me there was little they could do for but she went above and beyond and I couldn’t thank her enough.

Dr. Belani is an expert in her field of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. The office is well run and appointments are on time. She has an outstanding bed side manner and is honest. Dr. Belani truly cares for the health of each and every patient she sees and arranges the best care plan. If you have a difficult health issue, Dr. Belani is the doctor you want on your side. She doesn't sleep until she has the answers. I would highly recommend Dr. Belani.

I am Baptist Missionary serving already 20 years in Siberia, Russia. While on furlough in Frederick, MD I was hospitalized at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Dr. Belani was one of the physicians that treated me. I want to say the I was very pleased with her knowledge and concern for my illness. She was very professional and took the time to explain my illness and provide a treatment plan that worked. I found her dry sense of humor refreshing. She is truely a great physician.
