Highly recommend
I don't understand the bad reviews some people have left for Dr. Monroy because he has been an amazing doctor for my mother, my husband and myself. He takes time to listen to our concerns. If I call and leave a message he is sure to respond or someone from his staff will respond. He was always available for zoom calls during the covid pandemic. He takes his time with each patient, hence, the time it takes to see him (which, honestly, isn't all that long compared to other physicians) but I'd rather have a doctor that takes his time with patients than one who is in and out in a matter of minutes. His staff is courteous and responsive and Mr. Leyva, his NP, is great! Dr. Monroy was Doctor of the year a few years ago at Del Sol Medical Center and that was an honor that was well deserved!

To start. Always over 1 hour wait time. Dr Anwar Monroy has no consideration for the elderly patient waiting. He is rude when you ask him a question. Takes offense. He has a bad attitude. Is not thorough and rushes out of the office. He truly does not care for the patient. One sided. No patient manners. Dr Leyva that has filled in for Dr Monroy is a complete opposite and we do recommend seeing. My grandmother will no longer return to Dr Monroy’s office. Staff is also unpleasant.

Dr. Monroy is a wonderful geriatric doctor. He took very good of my mother when she was alive and my father still sees him to this day. He listens to their concerns. I would recommend anyone with older parents to consider sending them to this doctor.

Took months to get in for visit. Patients were crowded in to a hot waiting room in spite of coronavirus and distancing rules. Waiting 2.5 hours to go back. Dr. Monroy was rude and belittling. I do not recommend. And will never go back.

My name is Maria Ley and i am writing this on behalf of my mother Consuelo V Ley. My mother was a patient of Dr, Monroy., she was very fond of him.. He was very kind, always showed concerned, listened to the problem or illness my mom had and acted immediately so she could feel or get better. One very important issue, he always was thorough with his explanation. I came from California to care for my mom, and if i stay here i will most certainly request for Dr. Monroy to be my Dr.

Dear Dr. Monroy, I called your office twice. Initially I requested a brochure on your practice and was informed by Crystal that you did not have one. I called again today and asked to speak to your office manager, accountant or someone other than Crystal who was unhelpful and rude. She would not cooperate or take a message for you or your wife. I told her she was not very receptive to new patients. She informed me, "You had plenty of patients." Sincerely, Diane Dillon

My mother in law has Alzheimer's, this news found us scrabbling to find a good doctor as soon as possible, the office staff worked hard to help us get in quickly. We were very impressed that the doctor took 45 minutes to sit with us and listen to our concerns! After our first appointment he made adjustments to her meds and we quickly saw a difference in her. We are truly grateful to Dr. Monroy for validating our concerns and providing excellent patient care.

Wow! Definitely doesn't need patients! I'm not sick, just scheduled time to meet since I'm looking for a PCP. I mentioned the blood pressure machine was painful, and he got defensive & proceeded to show immense concern over my blood pressure being slightly high ( never high before) Apparently EVERY other Dr. (IN MY 48 YRS) has not taken an accurate reading, b/c it wasn't painful. Highly pompous, if you have a mind of your own, he'did rather you went elsewhere. Doesn't care about your opinion.
