She will ask you to share your CGM data with her and charge you $80 to look at your phone for 5 seconds. She is always in a rush and talks to me like I'm not worthy of her time. She actually scolded me for having an A1C of 5.

I have been seeing Dr. Ayyagari for several years now for my thyroid condition. She has been a wonderful, up front doctor. She has been able to help me consistently maintain the correct thyroid levels, something that only one previous endocrinologist (retired) had been able to do. The staff is up front and friendly as well.

This Dr???. looked at 1 (one) blood test for my husband and without any other tests put him on a monstrous program of 6 shots a day and doubled his oral meds as well. Swatting a fly with a sledge hammer. Follow up appointment was set for 3 months later per DR. orders. In the meantime my husband's blood sugar regularly is now between 60 and 70. NOT GOOD!!! My husband was given NO INSTRUCTIONS or target number for what his blood sugar should be. Do no harm? RIGHT. Where did she go to school? In a third world country whose major religion has some very bizarre ideas that surely feed into the practice. Maybe this ahem Dr. would be better suited to research on Plum Island. STAY AWAY unless you like playing fast and loose with your health.

I have seen Doctor Ayyagari for 4+ years for diabetes. She treated me and brought my A1C down to normal. She is very good with follow-ups and keeps track of my health. I am pleased to recommend her to anyone.

I had to go to Dr. Ayyagari for thyroid testing. I spent $750 on testing and then did not hear from the office for three weeks. I was finally able to log in to the patient portal and when I did found a note from the doctor next to my lab results saying, “you have Graves’ disease. Would like to start you on medication.” Well, I would’ve liked a phone call for that, at least. No one has talked to me about the condition or what the medications will do/ side effects. I’ve called the office to ask for help, but I haven’t received a call back. I am frustrated, disappointed, and scared. I have called my family practitioner for help and am looking for another endocrinologist at the moment. If you care about your health and being treated like a person, I would not recommend this doctor. Horrible experience.

I have been treated by Dr. Aparna Ayyagari for the last 3 years for diabetes. I am very impressed by her professionalism and knowledge. We would recommend her to anyone. My A1C was 6.8 and after she treated me it got down to 5.2 with reduction in the total amount of medication that I was taking. I am very pleased to have found her.

Dr. Alarms Ayyagari has to be the worst endocrinology I have every had. She doesn’t interact with you at all. I have a hard time getting her to send refill for my insuiln. It takes her 2-3 day to send it out even when she approves it. That’s right when she approves it. I have had her decline to send insuiln to the pharmacist . She will only send prescription for 3 months at a time when my old doctor would do 6 months. It feels like a fight to get the medicine I need to Survive

Dr. Ayyagari is very thorough when discussing treatment and care for me. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and thanks to her and surgeon that she referred me to, I have been cancer free for 2 years now. She is compassionate and listens to all of your concerns.

Dr. Ayyagari was very attentive and caring, and has great bedside manners. After dealing with so much fatigue for all these years, I felt I found someone who listened to me finally. I felt so much better after the medication changes she made. I am so happy to have found her and will strongly recommend her to my friends and colleagues.

Wouldn’t recommend her to anyone as an endocrinologist. She barely talks to you and gives you time. Worst experience ever as a type 1 patient.

I was surprised that the doctor did the ultrasound herself when in the past I have had it done by a nurse at other locations. I felt that she did not do as good a job of doing the ultrasound compared to the nurses that have done so before. Plus she did not provide me any insights on my issue dismissing it as essentially a mistake on the part of the examiner in the prior year. And the cost of the short visit came out to be 3+ times my prior visits to other locations!

She was in my network, however she used a lab that was NOT in my network. When I complained to her about it, she told me that the lab used to be in network. Upon talking to the lab rep, I was told that they were NEVER in network. Then they sent me a bill for $6,400 and another for 300 for tests that my insurance did not cover.
