I had a horrible experience with her. She let her fellow talk to me before, but he did not understand me. She forgot to do a biopsy on the endoscopy and wanted to do it again. She also wanted to do a colonoscopy because the age changed. I have a hard time with anesthesia and doing all this over is intolerable to me. Then her new fellow wanted me to do manometry and a PH probe installed. I asked the fellow why. Her fellow said that I might be able to go off my medication for reflux and manometry would tell them exactly what was going on. But there was no treatment. I refused. Then they scheduled me for a followup 1 year later and sent me the date scheduled without my permission. I am not for practice of her fellows. This clinic put it’s claws in me after the endoscopy. I would not have a procedure without having an appointment first have her decide what her plan is. Also UNMH main treats colonoscopy patients like cattle. I had general anesthesia so different.

I had a fairly negative experience with Dr. Kaza. She is not exactly rude, but she does not have good bed side manner, and did not make me feel comfortable or welcome in the exam room. By her body language and what she said verbally, I do not believe that she cared about what I was trying to explain; she looked and sounded bored and uninterested and recommended treatments and medications I had already told her(several times) I am allergic to or I have tried and they didn't work. She was close to an hour and a half late to my appointment, and spent at the very most 3-4 minutes with me and did not do an exam. She did not ask me if I had questions or even give me the opportunity to ask questions which was very disappointing as a new patient. I waited over a year for this appointment, and I feel like I completely wasted my time and money. I would not recommend her to someone; she is definitely not the worst, but I will not go to her again.

Don't expect anything in the way of follow-up communication or aftercare. I'm still trying to obtain biopsy results 8 weeks after a procedure.

Dr Kaza is extremely intelligent. She is friendly and listens to you. She always seems to remember what you have and what she is treating unlike some doctors that ask you what you are there for. She has been my doctor for years now and has worked with me to fix my digestive diseases and to make my life to where it is tolerable living with digestive diseases. I highly recommend her. It can take time to get in to see her but it is well worth the wait. She is a wonderful doctor.

Poor bedside manner. She did not administer enough medication during medical procedure causing me to gag uncontrollably. I do not recommend her.
