seems uncomfortable with females and fat phobic.
I'm sure he's great for arthritis and other basic rheum needs, but for specialized and rare diseases I would avoid. He has zero concept of basic accommodations, did not check medical records or history prior to visit (and then ignored a compiled list I had made while asking me questions that had those answers on said sheet.) The more I advocated for myself, the more flippant he became OR doubled down on an inappropriate nonmedical related conversation he started at the beginning of the visit(I guess trying to connect? But instead I felt like his quest to find the bakery name some "drug reps" had gifted him took more precedence than my condition.) I ended up leaving in tears, feeling massively gaslit and thoroughly uncared for. So sad, because the referring doctor (who had called out a diagnosis I never would have considered from the SAME sheet) had spoken highly of him. But I also think that had I been a man, I would have received far greater respect and care.

This doctor made me feel very, very uncomfortable. My level of trust for this doctor is very low. I don't feel that I was given complete information about my condition and wasn't given medication options to help my condition which was getting worse. Also, I did not care for his bedside manner.

Dr. Teitel is the most caring doctor that spent more time looking at my past and listening to me, then any other doctor. He diagnosed my condition in the hour I was there when my other r hematologist didn't in 6 months. I would rcommend him 100%.
