Dr. Arnold Debelen, MD

I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. DeBelen, and I am incredibly impressed with the care I received. Dr. DeBelen is an exceptional internist who combines medical expertise with genuine compassion and attention to detail. There will be a wait but worth it. From the outset, Dr. DeBelen made me feel comfortable and heard. He took the time to thoroughly understand my medical history and current concerns, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. Dr. DeBelen's ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatment options in a clear and relatable manner helped me feel informed and confident about my healthcare decisions.Dr. DeBelen's approach to medicine is both comprehensive and personalized. He not only addressed my immediate health issues but also emphasized the importance of preventive care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Debelen takes time to listen to me and understand all my health questions and concerns. He talks in a respectful manner and I just feel he has genuine care for my well being as a senior patient.

This is my third visit to Dr. De Belen's clinic since April 2024 and so far I am happy with his service. Perhaps it is our native language that made it easier for us to communicate but I appreciate that he listened, responded and explained about my health concerns. He gave recommendations and ordered tests that made sense to me (unlike my previous PCP who ordered tons of expensive tests without really explaining, even to the extent of refusing to answer questions). With his guidance and treatment plan, I feel comfortable and being assured that I am getting the right and reasonable care that will allow me to maintain my health.

No one ever answers the phone to return a missed call or schedule a visit.

I've been lucky and blessed to have Dr. D aka Dr. Debelen as my primary doctor. He knows what is necessary to help me as a patient feel comfortable and able to share real feelings of what someone may be experiencing. He is stuck with me til he retires. The staff is also AMAZING!! Love ?? you all . Thank you ??

Visits are great and Debelen is very knowledgeable...but just don't try to reach them by phone. You only get answering service or machine asking to leave messages. The problem is there is no followup calls or contacts. I asked for a refill authorization 1 week ago and pharmacy still doesn't have the okay from Dr Debelen's office.

My name is Andrea Pino and I have been wit Dr.Debelen for a long time now and he is amazing I refer him to all my family and friends. He has helped me get through a lot of my mental issues he is always there for me yes we may have to wait a bit but at what dr does anyone go to that don’t make them wait because they are that good of a dr and have that many patient I always come back to him I will not go to another dr as long as he is in Las Vegas Nevada I love him! My family even loves him in my eyes and opinion I give him a 5 star!

Super unprofessional. My husband was told that he more than likely has COPD and that he needs to see a primary. He picked this doctor since it's closer to us. Not only is the appointment set for 3 weeks in advance, which when it comes to lung problems, you can't really wait, but he never got any email confirmation or texts confirming the appointment. We have called his office over 6 times in two weeks to find out the date and time, every time he gets forwarded to a voice machine. He leaves voicemails explaining the situation and providing the phone number, but we haven't gotten any call back yet. Horrible communication. Switched to a different doctor. I guess he doesn't want money. Don't come here. You'll have your time wasted even before the appointment date.

My Mother passed away because of his practice. My Mom was suffering Pneumonia for 3 weeks and he didn't check her blood or x-ray. They prescribed her some meds with some allergic reactions and still no blood work or x-ray. We admitted my mother to the hospital and the doctor told us that she was suffering from a bad Pneumonia on which she didn't recover.

I've been seeing Dr.DeBelen for years and would highly recommend him and his staff. The staff is very friendly. The doctor is very informative and cares about his patients. The wait time can be long as it is at other doctor offices around the city.

Dr. DeBelen is a horrible doctor. I went in with dermatographism and clearly explained what it was and he still wrote on his paper that the prescription is a cream for my "insect bites". I explained it definitely wasn't insect bites and he refused to listen. Wanted to a get a dermatologist referral since all my problems are skin related and a specialist would be better for me but he very rudely told me to try the insect medicine first. He also looked like he was sleepy the entire time.

Saw this dr in the hospital so, not by choice. He literally chuckled at me in front of my spouse (was admitted via the ER) saying he thought we over-reacted to be in the hospital in the first place. Then proceeded to say he couldn't explain why the Dr who we ordered to see me by the ER a full day before "missed me" that day and to just go home and see him out of office given test didn't show anything. If this was such routine stuff why was I admitted or not released once he saw me? Waste of $.

He falsified my husbands medical documentation. He assumed that after the first time my husband was discharged that he went home and consumed alcoholic beverages. We told him no over and over yet he did not listen at all. He actually took his hand and waved it at me as if I were a servant and he didn't want me around as I was asking him questions regarding my husbands health in the hospital.

Very poor listening skills, always late. Just as someone else here said, he will ignore your concerns. It doesn't matter what you say, he is going to do what he wants. He does not explain the course of treatment and almost seems annoyed when asked too many questions. There is a reason he has 1 1/2 stars on here, look elsewhere if possible.

first visit- waited almost 2 hrs to get to exam room. friendly nurses and staff. dr. came in. was somewhat condescending. didn't get pleasant vibe from him. will not be returning.

The Dr. does not listen to your concerns. He considers that you have no idea about anything and that he will do what he thinks is necessary even if that approach has not worked for you in the past. He has very poor listening skills. He also does not arrive on time and that causes him to run late for all appts that are set for the day.
