Dr. Arnold Stein, MD

I think Dr. Stein is wonderful however Prior to visit I called to check about insurance and was told that there is an extra charge for refraction. When I asked the receptionist what refraction is, her response was, “you can google it honey.”Rude!

Recently had some very disheartening experiences with Dr. Stein. My mother, an 93 year old holocaust survivor with dementia was referred to him. The care he has provided has been awful. His indifference and disinterest in her care was painful for me to experience, particularly since she had been his patient for many years before she became helpless with dementia. I found it interesting that his office sends out satisfaction surveys, but it is very clear that the purpose of the survey is just to get positive testimonials. From the response I got when I spoke to his receptionist about my review, it was clear they only want praise and are not truly interested in how patients feel.

Warm, friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. In one word...Amazing!!!

I feel confident that I am getting the best care for my eyes with Dr Stein's care, skill, experience and professionalism. The office staff is friendly , helpful and responsive, both for regular check ups and for emergencies.

I am a longtime most satisfied patient. Dr. Stein is a wonderful physician in all ways.

Very polite and to-the-point. He is knowledgeable and knew what to screen me for and how to handle my predisposition to a condition. Staff in his office are very friendly and welcoming. From start to finish it can take a little long but sure he's only one man.
