Dr. Arthur Stember, MD

Dr. Stember is my go-to Primary. He's treated me for many things and referred me to the right specialist when needed. When I'm in the hospital (unfortunately quite a few times) he always checks on me even if he didn't admit me. I am not the most compliant patient and he has scolded me for it. He's a New Yorker and some people think that's rude. No problem here. His staff is either marvelous or unhelpful, 50-50. Waits for an appt very good waits in the waiting room also very good. Only trouble was when I showed up w small Emotional Spport dog and he threw us out. But he is a pediatrician and worried about bites or allergies. I understand that.

By far as imagined one of the finest doctors around. We have used his friendly and professional staff for over 20 years. With his help and guidance I personally have had the best care in treatment for a broken back and other complications. He and the doctors he set me up with to collaborate my care/condition was astonishing. Thank you!

Dr. Stember is my well-established Primary Care doctor.I had done an initial blood panel on my own;the results had high platelet count,& I sent it to my gyno.She ordered a 2nd blood panel; I got the results of the 2nd blood panel& the platelet count was still high for me,so she told me to "go to my primary to get a referral to a hemo-oncologist for further evaluation".I brought this test result with my gyno's note clearly written at the top of it,&Dr. Stember refused to even look at it & to simply give me a referral because he apparently thought that I (a mere mortal/non-doctor) was attempting to tell him to give me a referral,when in actuality it was another doctor who was asking him to do so! I was literally crying out of frustration bc I have extreme anxiety about this due to my Father having Leukemia. He kicked me out of his office &told me to find another primary (which I was already planning to do before this visit). He is arrogant & has no empathy for his patients. AVOID HIM!

Dr. Stember is the best! He gets to the heart of the problem and only treats what’s actually necessary. He gives you the reality of the situation which many of our coddled mass don’t like. I do.

This doctor doesn’t like questions from the patients, he is rude and very much call the patients a lier, he refuses to document what the patients have going on with them, which leads to them not being treated for all that is wrong. I strongly suggest going to a different doctor but that is just me.

I would not recommend this Dr. Stember. He is very rude and inappropriate.

Dr. Stember and his staff are the definition of incompetent. My son was assigned to their care by our insurance carrier. After fighting for two weeks to have my son seen by the doctor I was told at the last minute that Dr. Stember refused to see my son. When I call the office to get a reason I was essentially told "because the Dr. said so". No one could give me an actual answer. The office manager that got belligerent with my wife refused to even speak with me.
