I saw Dr. Arora for a little over 2 years. He immediately deemed me a personality disorder at our 1st visit which I learned should take a lot of time and consideration to do. I ended up with 4 other diagnosis and was managing 5 medications. I started experiencing symptoms of serotonin syndrome: trouble speaking, no short term memory, unable to sit still, and high emotionally. When I expressed my concerns, I was told the symptoms were somatic (anxiety induced symptoms that weren’t actually real). Medications were adjusted and when symptoms resolved returned to regular dosages. Symptoms returned and when I called the office for help, he refused and quit the practice. I believe my symptoms were related to serotonin syndrome and I hope he really listens to his patients in the future.
