I believe Dr. Shah is a mostly competent psychiatrist, and I enjoyed my visits with him. However, after going to him for several years, I do not believe that he TRULY cares about his patients. If you actually have a mental illness episode, depending on what it is and how severe it is, he may lose trust in you, and even become afraid of you, as he did with myself; he ended up terminating our professional relationship, even though I felt it was best for me to continuing seeing him. May be rare.

Likes to make accusations. Doesn't know how to properly taper medication, which is very dangerous.
