Great physician

No, for a variety of reasons. Starting w/scheduled surgery took place nearly three hrs. later then expected. Explanation received was "he came in late." The incision bleed something fierce for a day and a half. Due to weekend, was unable to reach office. When I finally was able to, the response was "oh" from his assistant on excessive bleeding. Nearly two weeks later, I arrived at the office to wait 1-1/2 hours to have three assistants take nearly ten minutes to remove four of eight stitches. One was quoted as saying the doctor sewed them in very tightly. Hence the need to dig them out. Neither I receive any antibiotics for prevention not did I receive any information from the dr. regarding wound care. This is not my first time in the hospital for type of operation. I know to expect... anything, but this level of care

Amazing Surgeon! I had a pilonidal cyst removal! He has been consistent with my doctors visit and keeps up with me about my recovery

His office likes to bill insurance as much as he can so he asks for unnecessary return visits.

Dr Patel saw my husband when he was admitted for a gall bladder removal. He spoke with us for about 3 min. When I asked a question regarding the procedure he answered while walking backwards inching his way closer and closer to the door so he could leave. May be a good surgeon but not a good bedside manner. When he forgot to put my husband on the schedule for surgery we found a new surgeon.

I have literally wiped out my blood pressure, trying to get my hernia surgery scheduled. Since 2015, I've seen Dr Patel for same condition. Office staff never remember to submit pre-authorization or call back, prices keep changing with time, asked for cash though hernia covered by insurance. Kept saying Dr was busy, then ask me to come for fresh visit after it'd been months. The plastic surgeon Dr referred me to do diastasis part together with, is still waiting. Horrible non-caring!
