Dr Herrera helped save our Mom from total finger amputation or more. Glad we found him when we did. She only lost her fingertip. This was due to misdiagnosis by a totally different doctor in Frederick County Md. we highly recommend him! He cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to get them on the road to recovery

Dr. Herrera is the only doctor that every treated my Lymphedema hereditary condition. I have gone through so much painful conditions with my legs until I was seen by Him. He has treated me for my condition with expertise and explained everything to me. In my opion he is an excellent specialist that has so much knowledge with my condition. I have been so blessed to have such a great doctor with the knowledge to take care of my needs. He"s the best doctor I ever hadto take care of the lymphedena I appreciate him so much for all he has done for me. I never want to go to anyone else but him for my condition. The office staff is excellent. Having said that, my experience with Dr. Herrera was quite different. When I initially went to see him, it was for an earlobe tear. He told me my insurance would not cover it, even though he was a participating provider. So we scheduled the surgery. When I went in, he said good morning, take your glasses off and then, when finished, two weeks. Those were the words he spoke to me the entire time I was there. In two weeks, I went back to get my stitches out, he said they needed to stay in another week. Never in my life, after countless surgeries, have stitches or staples stayed in more than 10 days and mine were in for over three weeks. Of course, they grew into the skin and he had to rip them out, causing bleeding. Nothing said, no apologies, no acknowledgement that he made an error, just see you in 3 months. Summing up, I have never in my life met a more arrogant, obnoxious self-important person in my life. And my insurance did cover it, got a refund.

I have been a patient of Dr Herrera for a long time. I wouldn't trust any other Dr. He takes great care, listens to my concerns and always gives me the best care. He is compassionate and truly cares about his patients as family. His staff is cares about my time and is always friendly and helpful.

Staff is friendly and courteous and Dr. is very informative and compassionate!
