Dr. Asaad Ahmed, MD

I began seeing Dr. Ahmed about eighteen months ago. He was referred to me by another physician because of Asaad Ahmed's expertise in geriatrics. I can't be more pleased. My 'appointment experiences', four of them, have all flowed seamlessly from the beginning to the time the prescriptions were retrieved, including two personal follow up calls from Dr. Ahmed himself on two separate weekends. Yes, absolutely I would recommend Dr. Ahmed. My experience with him has been exceptional. I walked into his office as a brand new patient. He immediately recognized my symptoms and promptly put me on the appropriate medication and dosage. Later I found out that the disease I had is hard to diagnose, rare, and if not caught and treated early can result in blindness in one or both eyes. He set in motion the path to the specialists I needed. In addition, he checked on me several times to give me instructions; he urgently but gently made sure that I knew what the instructions were before he ended the call. Needless to say, I will always be grateful to Dr. Ahmed for his expertise, experience, diligence, and his gentleness. The follow-up appointments have only confirmed my initial impression. Dr. Ahmed listens to his patients, is thorough, wants to know about his patients, is always ready available for an unexpected need to see him, is kind, respectful and very professional and knowledgable.
