From the first moment I met him, I knew that Dr. Gridley was very passionate about helping the obese people who came to him because they’d tried everything to no avail. He recommended the sleeve gastrectomy for me, and he did it yesterday. I have absolutely no pain, nausea or gas. He did a marvelous job! He is so kind and compassionate as well as skilled. If you struggle with obesity, run - don’t walk - to his office and he will help you! He has saved my life. Literally.

Dr. Gridley helped me when few others have. He didn't give up on me or make me feel like I was crazy. It is obvious he really cares about his patients.

I was in the ER and was in excruciating pain with no answers. Problem had gone on for months. Dr. Gridley went above and beyond to help me and know my case. He is a great doctor with great bedside manners!

I recently had hernia repair surgery with Dr.Gridley. He did an excellent job. He is also the most genuine person. He reviews all that will be done during the procedure and any possible negative consequences. He’s always so positive and caring. I enjoy just talking with him but him being a great doctor is the best!

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Explained my weight readout before Dr. Gridley came in, so that l was informed. Chris the nurse was outstanding! Dr. Gridley was above and beyond any Dr. Visit that l have ever experienced. He was very kind, and explained everything that was going on with my issue. He drew pictures to explain the placement. He went over my ct scan organ by organ, explaining in detail what was going on inside of my body. He is positive, extremely knowledgeable, and most of all caring. He is the upmost example of what all doctors should emulate. I appreciate the time that he spent with me, and that he is going to be my Dr as l repair the difficulty that l am experiencing with my issue.

I had gall bladder surgery October 12,2020. Dr. Gridley is a amazing surgeon. I was scared he took time to talk with me about the procedure explaining the risk as well as the benefits. I would recommend Dr. Gridley to anyone having to have surgery. He shows you true caring and concern about your fears and questions.

I had a gastric sleeve and a hernia repair by Dr. Gridley. I have had several operations in my life. Dr. Gridley is the best surgeon that has operated on me. First and foremost, his skills are second to none. He is a true master of his craft. The thing that sets Dr. Gridley apart is his attention to the aftercare of the patient. I have never had post op care that comes close to what he provides. For both of my operations, he personally has called me once I have gotten home to check on me. He and his staff is committed to my health. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Gridley and his staff. If you need a surgeon with his skill set, just go to him and look no further. Dr. Gridley is the man.

Dr. Gridley and his staff are amazing. Always made me feel welcome. They didn’t pressure me for surgery and let me decide at my own time when I was comfortable with the next step in my care. I can’t thank them enough for their patience and encouragement. They have changed my life.

Great bedside manner takes time to listen to you

Dr. Gridley was my surgeon and Dr. until I moved from Slidell to the Chicago area. He and his team were so open, friendly and caring. As others have said, his bedside manner is terrific. Bariatric surgery is very emotional and he makes you feel very comfortable. I can’t recommend him enough.

This doctor is a true professional. He has a wonderful bedside manner and truly cares about the well being of his patients. His demeanor is more like the old time doctors...he is absolutely there for each of his patients...a rare find these days!

Dr. Gridley is absolutely THE BEST doctor I have ever had. He is extremely thorough with explaining the "what and why's" of what is going on with you. He makes himself available to his patients at all times. He wants to know all the details of what's going on with his patients. I have the utmost respect for him. I wish that he could be my doctor for everything. You will not be disappointed in selecting him as your surgeon.

Dr Gridley is one of the most professional and personal physicians that I have ever seen. He takes a true personal interest as well as his staff in insuring the best outcome possible. I can't say enough about him his nutritionist, nurse and office staff. I am a new healthy person because of my bariatric surgery. I recommend him daily.

Dr. Gridley is an amazing doctor. When I had my surgery he gave me his cell phone number and told me to call if I need him. Six weeks later I needed him and he was there. He called and texted up till 10:30 pm checking on me. I have never had such an amazing caring doctor like this man. Anyone considering Bariatric Surgery this is the best doctor.

When I 1st met with Dr Gridley I was up front that bariatric surgery is excluded on my insurance & I would likely proceed in Mexico. Surprisingly he still spent over an hour with me discussing what would be best for my specific issues & how to start changing my diet & habits. Then, about 6 wks later I ended up referred to him for a hernia repair. Bc of my history he felt RNY would be best & spent 3-4 wks convincing my insurance of the same. I'm now 5 weeks post op, healthier, lighter, & happier.

Dr Gridley really cares about his patients. His whole team is wonderful. I feel very lucky that he is my doctor.
