Dr. Patel can often be rude, and has a very poor bedside manner.Also be warned: she will call you in for needless appointments and then ask why you’re there. It seems the only purpose is to send you the bill.Find a different Primary Care Provider if you can.

Plain poor!

I was looking for a new PCP and thought I had found one. I was wrong my first visit was a new patient appointment. It was rushed she said I was due for a physical once going over my record. The physical was every bit of 10 minutes if that. I sat in a chair for this physical not an exam table? She asked and addressed very few questions. I informed Dr. Patel I was experiencing hair loss. I let her know I was on thyroid replacements and she asked did I need a refill when I was clearly due to have my thyroid levels retested. I had to request for bloodwork. I hadn't had my thyroid checked in months. Why refill an old prescription without testing my levels first? after getting my blood work I contacted Dr. Patel's office to ask questions regarding my results and she over talked me. I could not get a question in and after getting off the phone I still didn't have answers. She talked fast and rushed. I was very displeased with my experience. I didn't feel valued as a patient at all.

Very caring doctor and wonderful staff

Dr patel has been my doctor for many years. I have found her to be professional, competent and kind.

I visited Dr Patel one time for external ear infection, she didn't even look in my ears, nor did she do any cleaning to help. She always speaks and argues with patients on the phone about appointments and biling during the visit. Last time I asked her to fill out an immunization record for my school, but she was reluctant to fill it. Then she deformed it with unnecessary marks. Now I have to look for another doctor to fill a new form and sign it. Definitely not recommending her to anyone!

Se is such an unprofessional rude dr. I cam in twice ,once for my yearly physical and second for a leg pain. Both appt were less than 5 min and I brought up concerns to her both times. One condition i believed i had ( a common eye infection) she pulled out her phone to look up the conditions. Even though my blood work came back wth no red flags i repeatedly told her about pains and symptoms i was having and her response was " i dont know everyything came back good". no bedside manner at all

I first came for my general physical in over 2 years, she did not ask me about me lifestyle concerns or anything. I mentioned to her about a symptom and she proceeded to pull out her phone to research it. The 2nd appt i cam in for some pain and she sent me out for a ultrasound, she still did not ask questions about how long ive had it or how does it feel. she was very dismissive. SHE IS VERY DISMISSIVE AND DOES NOT ANSWER HEALTH QUESTIONS, DO NOT GO TO HER.

Dr. Asha Patel, she's and awesome doctor. I have been seeing her for 3 years now. My husband and i moved to Chicago for a year and back to Michigan this year and have resume seeing her. My insurance won't cover at this time. I will pay cash to see her that's how good she is. I could not ask for a better doctor. She has seen me through 2 surgeries and i came through great! I reccommend her anyone that's looking for a doctor. I trust her with all ly being. Patricia Adams
