Dr Shafton follows my many cardiac issues well. He is always concerned, caring, and watchful of vital signs and lab work. He explains situations well and has a pleasant, positive attitude.

Have seen Dr Shafton numerous times over the last 30 months. I found him very intelligent, very aware of the latest heart treatments and information and very pleasant and approachable. I am confident that he is treating my heart conditions correctly and I trust his judgement fully. Richard Ricketts

Absolutely awful experience. Super unresponsive and indifferent. I had multiple tests done and I had to call multiple times to get the results (after waiting at least 10 days from end of test before calling). I called 2 weeks after my 7 day Holter monitor test ended and was told that Dr. Shafton had not even looked at my results yet (in fact, they told me they weren't even sure they had the results which the device company told me they received daily. Same thing with the EKG. DO NOT reccommend

Dr. Shafton's office informed me prior to my appointment that my office visit was covered by my insurance only to tell me hours after the office visit that it wasn't. I received a bill for $413, instead of my quoted $50 copay. They admitted that they did not submit my insurance until 2 hours after my visit but were unsympathetic to my $413 bill. They had an entire day to check prior to my visit. 500 characters isn't enough to explain the underhanded practices of this office. Shameful people.

Very thorough interview and exam. Answers questions with good detail. Professional and affable. New patient check-in forms are mostly pre-filled which saves time and reflects excellent office management. Staff members seem quite knowledgeable.
