Dr. Ashima Lyall, MD

I met Dr Lyall in 2017 when I was sent to LVHN Breast Health Services for a biopsy. She said she did not believe I needed a biopsy at that time and refused to perform the procedure....insisting that the correct path to take was for me to to have a screening Mammo and screening Ultrasound every 6 months for the next 2 years .....and the suspicious area would be watched . I always scheduled my appointments when she would be the reading radiologist. After 2 years - I was given the go ahead by Dr. Lyall to resume bi-lateral routine Mammos and Ultrasounds.....as the area being watched turned out to be fluid filled cysts- benign! She is skilled, caring and the kind of physician who will go the extra mile for the patient. If you take charge of your health - request her to read your films - you would be in EXCELLENT hands!!
