I arrived early for my first appointment with Dr. Ashley Erwin. I was promptly taken to a room by the assistant nurse who verified my medication list, took my temperature, and blood pressure. She was very professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Erwin came into the room shortly after the assistant nurse left. I am a new patient for Dr. Erwin. She was professional, easy to talk with, efficient, and appeared to be very competent. She reviewed my chart and responded to my reason for the visit. I was pleased with how Dr. Erwin addressed my concerns and verified the information in my chart. She also developed a plan of action to address my concerns and her assessment of my needs. Dr. Erwin made a referral to a specialist, reviewed my Immunization record and recommended vaccines that I not yet taken. She also ordered blood work to determine my current levels. Dr. Ashley Erwin is absolutely amazing, she noticed something's that I was experiencing and ordered a Goiter test to see if I am having problems with my thyroid. I have been coughing more and having irritability more in my throat and I just thought it was the Lupus attacking my body, to have a doctor notice things that could possibly be going on because she noticed certain things that I did not tell her is amazing. I think Dr. Ashley Erwin MD is an excellent doctor and she was very thorough with me and my nephew.
