Received helpful information.

I waited over 2 months for this appt. After waiting in the lobby over 1 and a half hours I was greeted by her medical assistant. She didn’t seem to like what she was doing as she rushed thru her duties with me and told me the Dr would be in shortly. Well after another long wait Dr King came in and also rushed thru the questions and my concerns. She rattled off several things that could be done. I asked for explanations and she rushed thru them. I was told that she was going to send in a med for me and set me up for a test. My appt wasn’t completed until after 5:00 and the office girls had all left but one that told me the computers were already down for the day but she would call me 1st thing in the am. Well even after two calls to their office I’ve never received the med or been set up for the test that I really didn’t even understand.. All in all it was prob one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had at Woodlands. A big waste of my time! Dissatisfied!

She is wonderful to talk to. Very informative and cares if you understand. She will give you options and her opinion. I love her. I've seen her for about 13 years.

She took time to talk to you instead of talking at you out of script! And, I took notice, for most don't. I've always watched how the physician responds to my greeting them.

Last visit was December 13, 2023 at the Airport Office at 3pm. It was during the Christmas Holiday was asked to come in 15 minute early . We did not get out of the office until 6pm. The level of care was very sloppy, rushed and unprofessional. My husband have a history of UTI's and they know it. Staff was supposed to take urine for testing but it never happen and 2 days later on Saturday Dec. 16 I had to call 911 to take him to hospital diagnose with UTI and more.I called the office of King the following Tuesday and the phone rang and rang and was I held hour and a half then hung up. Call the next day same but left message. The confidence level in my husband's care with this group is zero. We did not know that Dr. Becky Opper left the Woodlands. We never got a call or any followup appointments for months. I called to inquire and was told that Dr. Opper was no longer there. So know we are not happy in the least.

Easy to talk to!

It's shocking how rude, dismissive, undermining and demeaning Dr. King was to me. Her lack of bedside manners and inability to show compassion is shocking. I have never waited less that one hour to see her, yet she typically spends about 12 minutes with me. She made me feel dumb when I asked her questions. Dr. King is the worst doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. King, recognizes there is a problem and is willing to run necessary test to find out what is wrong to help me with my health issues.

Dr. King was very attuned to me during my visit and a wealth of useful information regarding my situation. I always leave much better informed and comfortable. Dr. King is incredible!

BIG MISTAKE!!! She was soooo rude and unprofessional. It was a rushed and uncomfortable exam. She completely lacks compassion. Will never recommend her to any of my family, friends or patients. Will NOT be following up. Now have another physician and he's amazing!!!! If I could give her negative stars, I would!

After being hospitalized with pyelonephritis and recurrent UTI’s for a year I saw Dr King as a new patient. Waited over an hour for this appointment. I provided extensive medical records. She was not very compassionate or empathetic and in fact was quite condescending and dismissive about my experiences. She didn’t make me feel like I actually had any major concerns and told me that if I had positive urine cultures without symptoms that she would not treat me with antibiotics because this was normal for post menopausal women to have positive cultures. She asked me how I could explain that I really was having infections without classic symptoms….. I felt dismissed by this and after asking her if I wasn’t really having true infections as indicated by 100 thousand plus colonies of bacteria in my culture, why did I feel better with 10 days of IV antibiotics from infectious disease. Her answer was that a placebo could also have this result. Wow. This is not for me.

I checked in early for my 3:40 appt and had a seat. After an hour, I asked the lady who checked me in what was going on, was told she was running an 1 & 1/2 hrs behind. I asked why weren't we told, she said some person had announced it. Really? I sure didn't hear it. This didn't sit well with me, however, really needing to see Dr King, I decided to wait. After an hour and 40 mins, I finally told the girl I wasn't waiting any longer, to just refund my co-pay. She went in the back, Dr King's nurse came out and said somehow the system showed I had already been seen and checked out. I was livid! She said Dr King could see me just as soon as she was finished with who she was with. I guess so, there was no one else there. I said emphatically NO. Was also told an hour wait is the norm. I really needed to see her but I'll not be treated in such a disrespectful manner. Do yourself a favor and skip over Dr Ashley King at The Woodlands when looking for a Urologist!! Disgraceful!!

Dr king is an excellent doctor.She responds to my medical needs in a caring and professional way.

Waited 50 minutes for Dr King to arrive. When she arrived I was instantly struck by her negative attitude towards me. She let me know that she had just spent time reading my medical notes. She stated that my symptoms “ didn’t JIVE with her”and there was nothing she could do for me. ( I had just been diagnosed with stage 111 kidney disease) .Dr King stated “you have no temperature only blood in your urine ,I know nothing about Kidneys , you probably have a tumor in your kidney “ I asked her why I felt so unwell and she’s said “I have no Idea, I only deal with the plumbing side “At this stage I was very upset scared and felt I was going to cry. She order a scan and X-ray and left the room. Dr King was standing in the hall talking to a Dr when I left . Again because I was scared I asked her who could help me ? She stated sneeringly and loudly “ I told you , I only deal with the plumbing “ I left feeling very scared, alone and frightened and that I might have a tumor in my kidney?

Very nice Doctor. She took time for me to talk and it was a pleasant time, very informative! I'm looking forward to the next few months for the urodynamic study to be done. She explained in fairly good detail what the final procedure will entail.

Dr. King was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about my problem. I have already recommended her to two friends with the same medical issue.

The Staff/Nurses/Doctors Always are so very kind to my mother when I bring her in and I so appreciate them from check in to check out. Thank You so much to Dr.King her staff and Dr. Ziebarth and her staff. Awesome group

I've been waiting for Quite a while now, for Dr.King to finally com back to my Network of Doctors. And She back .I'M so Happy. I finally get to be back under the care of the Absolutely BEST UROLOGIST in PENSACOLA FL. Thanks I'VE missed you a lot.

I really like Dr. King. She is professional, but very nice and explains everything very clearly. After seeing Dr. King I decided to move my primary care from Sacred Heart to Woodlands.

I love Dr. King. Although she was running very late the day of my first appointment she still took the time to hear all my concerns and problems. I have another appointment with her in a couple of weeks.
