One of the worst dr experiences I have ever had in my 60 years. Dismissive. Unprepared. Misdiagnosed. Rushed to get an incorrect diagnosis. Seemed my medical situation was above her head and instead of working with a team for input, she came up with something to move me along. I have contacted mayo clinic Jacksonville patient advocate services and filed formal complaint. Do not waste your time or money on Dr. Ashley Pena.

Dr Pena is employed at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Fl. Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor with incorrect reports and assuming details from referrring doctor while her mind was a million miles away wiht no attention to what I was saying as she copied records from the referring doctor which were also wrong. Also charge nurse should have been fired but she quit the day I called. I wanted her comments on paper but found they were 'scrambling' to find a replacement. Not anyone I would recommend but would say 'stay clear' of her and her staff Read Less

One of the best doctors I've ever had. Spent 1.5 hours with me on my initial consult (compared to a doctor elsewhere who spent 15). Listens to absolutely everything you say (couldn't believe the details in the report I received), doesn't jump to conclusions, doesn't push tests on you. Gentle demeanor. She's definitely in the right profession.
