Worst doctor ever
She was extremely rude and arrogant. It seemed like if you're not needing surgery she has no time for you. Not a nice person or professional.

Dr. Tapscott is a fraud.
Dr. Tapscott has left our daughter hanging since November 2022. After ordering an MRI fir a possible spine issue, the insurance denied. She only needed to do a peer to peer to make it happen. We left numerous messages for her trying to find out why this had not been done....meanwhile, our daughter is getting sicker and not doing well at all. The staff would take messages but noone would call back. After reaching the limit, I called for hours last week only to find out she was no longer there. Her last day had been the previous Thursday. We, and I suspect none of her patients were notified of her departure from the practice. Now we are facing another referral and extreme wait time, if and when another doctor can or will take this case. Just another example of how our medical system is broken. How dare Dr. Tapscott just ignore her patients that need her.

Overall displeased!
Dr. Tapscot is very good, but the office staff leaves much to be desired. For a recent blood test, they coded it incorrectly and I was charged by LabCorp. The Drs office was no help. I’m still trying to get an answer and some help. I’m not very hopeful. I like Dr Tapscot, but I will be going to a different Urologist.

I absolutely love Dr Ashley Tapscott! We hit it off right from the start. Yes, she can be somewhat direct and still make this guy blush. She's smart, she knows her stuff and goes about resolving the problem very methodically. Being on disability due to an auto accident, having her deal with my issue by going about it the most appropriate financial way showed that she truly cared. On the downside, once things are turned over to the staff, things tended to go sideways in rapid fashion. There's a tremendous disconnect between staff. When she agreed to take over my testosterone treatment in early February of this year, she requested a blood draw once I was on her regime three weeks later. The staff never called the draw in, requiring me to play phone tag, leaving vm's that weren't returned. Had I not kept on, the draw would've never occurred, a very simple task. With covid occurring, I cut them some slack. Had I not used LabCorp's app to get my results in late JUNE, I'd still be waiting.

I would not recommend Dr. Tapscott. She is nice enough, but she does not listen, and she is not thorough. I have been 3 times, and I will be looking for a new urologist.

I have found Dr A. Tapscott to be outstanding and very easy to discuss delicate conditions. I have been a patient of Dr Tapscott for 2+ years, including surgery. Dr Tapscott has always been honest and straightforward from my initial visit, through surgery and for several follow up appointments. I would strongly recommend Dr Tapscott.

She saw my father for a suspected kidney stone....after a CAT scan and ultrasound she declared they revealed scar tissue blockage near the kidney ...tried a failed procedure to clear out scar tissue but assured him was not cancer. Not cancer she repeated. He found her to be rude and dismissive. He believes she lied to him about consulting with her partners. She was done with him. He followed up with his primary physician who recommended he see another urologist who finally saw him 4 months later. No urgency because Tapscott was so certain of her diagnosis. Also told him option was to just live with it. New doc took one look at test results and suspected aggressive form of cancer not treated due to her diagnosis for 4 months. The cancer was aggressive. He went through intensive treatment and may still lose the kidney or have relapse of cancer. Stay away. She needs another day job.

Very rude and flip attitude. When I asked what sort of lifestyle should I follow to keep my kidneys healthy, she basically told me I was reading too much on the internet. She didn't even say to make sure you keep hydrated or to watch BP, which is high. She never explained the probable cause of my symptoms or examined me when I told her I was still having pain in different areas. She was basically paid for 5 min of reading my current test results from another doctor and left.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tapscott for almost a year. I have always been seen by her close in time to the appointment time. On one occasion she was dealing with a procedure that went longer than expected. I was kept informed about why the delay and she was extremely apologetic w.hen she saw me. Personality wise, she is professional but also courteous, compassionate and funny as hell. I have 100% confidence in her ability and recommend her highly.
