Patients deserve active listening and care
I started seeing Dr. Tatum for chronic hives in 2022. She did help me get on the path to receiving the medication that helps but the experience getting there was not pleasant. I feel as though she simply does not care about her patients in a meaningful way. Every interaction with her felt as though she was doing her job because it paid her bills. She made decisions on my care that caused stress, disruption to my day-to-day life, which often left me out of the loop, prying for answers, only for her to stop communicating with me and run her messages through the staff. If I were a rude patient, I'd understand but that was not the case. It took several weeks and so many emails and calls from me to get half answers from her and that sucks when your health is on the line. I do not recommend her at all.

Prepare to be rushed and interrupted.
Dr. Tatum rushed the appointment, did not answer questions, interrupted me whenever I spoke, and in the end, when my tests yielded nothing, all she could tell me is she had no idea why and referred me elsewhere. I've been seeing allergists much of my life, and none of them come close to so rude and unprofessional. The only saving grace here is the rest of the staff was wonderful.

Wonderful with kids and always took the time to listen to our concerns and then suggested different tests for allergies. Then she came up with a sophisticated plan to manage any future asthma attacks, which we have only had to use once with a severe asthma attack. Would HIGHLY recommend her.

The Dr. has nevers take the time to listen and instead rush into writting the prescriptions without any explanations. It happened to us for the 1st time but then we gave it another try to revisited her. Same as before, the dr has nmo bedside manner with patient. Very disappointed.
