Genuinely cares about patients wellbeing
I started seeing Dr Ahmed a few months ago. He is a great doctor who genuinely cares about his patients wellbeing. He listen's attentively as you speak and answers questions with thorough explanations. He works with patients to address their needs. I recommend him if you need to see someone

I was refused an appointment
I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed for 10 years. He assured me on two occasions he would continue to see me on an as needed basis. I am very disappointed in the fact he chose to not live up to his commitment. I actually believed him when he gave me his word he would continue to treat me as needed. Disappointed is actually not a strong enough word to use. I am dismayed, confused that I was, let’s say, mislead. I have great insurance and never had an outstanding balance. How can this happen??

Wonderful Psychiatrist
Dr. Ahmed was able to guide me and straighten out my medications after years of being unsuccessful elsewhere. He is kind and patient. He doesn’t rush through our appointments and always leaves me with words of encouragement.

Saved my life.
I was being treated by a psychiatrist who had me taking too many medications. Dr. Ahmed immediately knew that I was being overmedicated and helped me get on the right medications for my anxiety and PTSD. Thank you, Dr. Ahmed, you are a life saver. K Johnson

Always makes you feel welcome and concerned about your health. Staff are always professional, the staff do not work for the doc's. So if you have a issue with a staff person don't take it out in reviews against the doctor. Dr Ahmed also works with rehab, so if he thinks you are there for the pill your probably don't at that office. They are good people there.

Horrible experience. The office staff is extremely rude and the billing department is a joke. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. Please do not waste your time with Evansville Psychiatric!

He was nice, but I felt like he didn't want to take the time to actually talk to me. If you like making all the decisions on your own, then he would be great. For me, he did not provide me with enough information to make those decisions, which left me with a lot more medication than needed. He isn't bad, but make sure you know how you want to progress in your treatment before going in to your visit.
