Unbelievable
I saw Dr. Dayal in 2018 for suspected autoimmune disease. I walked in the exam room, he poked me in a couple of places and said it was fibromyalgia. I cried and begged him to please at least try an autoimmune treatment to see if anything gets better, and he told me I needed therapy and I don't have an autoimmune condition. Fast forward to 2022 and I'm bedridden with debilitating back and hip pain, with damage to all of my lumbar vertebrae and my sacroiliac joint and have surgery to have that joint fused and another surgery to remove a herniated disc and shave down my vertebrae because without the disc between them, they overlapped and couldn't move properly. Dr. Dayal, you owe my children an apology. Had you listened to me for one second, they would have more memories of me playing with them than me laying in bed in pain. Had you done your job and evaluated and treated me, I wouldn't be disabled at 37. Retire.

Awful
Did not read over my medical records, no interest in viewing my CT scan disks I was told to bring, and by telling me to touch my toes ruled out my already diagnosed Ankling Spondolosis.. lol guess he must have xray eyes. Worst experience ever do not waste your time or put your health in his hands.

Unprofessionalism
Telehealth
I was scheduled with dr dayal back in December 2023. My appointment was suppose to be February 21st 2024. Ive waited over 2 months for this appointment. I’ve literally received every notification reminding me that I had an appointment with dr dayal. Well as of today February 20th I get a call saying my appointment is cancelled due to the wrong provider being scheduled for my diagnosis the day before my appointment & that I have to wait 2 more months for the right provider. I was told I have to wait & be placed on a waiting list due to my inconvenience.

Very disappointing
Office and support staff were fantastic. Dr. Dayal did not review any of my history and actually claimed that autoimmune diseases, or at least certain immune diseases do not cause fatigue. Fatigue is a very significant hallmark of autoimmune disease. OK… So I have all of these conditions that he diagnosed. Now I just go away? No education on the new diagnosis, no treatment for the new diagnosis? I was a bit distraught after our visit.I have been diagnosed by two rheumatologist with psoriatic arthritis and overlapping rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Dayal did not agree with these diagnoses. He did not consider any of my history. Nor did he seem to understand the etiology of psoriatic arthritis. I have office lot of scientific, medical journal, other physician evidence that I could pour out in this review. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s necessary. If you see this doctor just be aware. I’m not sure. His education is up-to-date.

Horrible Experience
Dr. D had a preconceived idea before I even shared my symptoms. He wouldn’t listen to anything I was saying and contradicted everything a national organization teaches. I’m quite angry that he’s able to get away with being an MD.

The most humiliating interaction I've ever had with a physician. I'd been referred to Dr. Dayal by my dermatologist to rule out lupus (or some other auto-immune or inflammatory condition). The grumpy nurse interrogated me as to why I thought I have lupus. I don't--my doctor wants to rule it out. Nurse said it's probably just obesity and menopause. Dr. Dayal comes in with the same dismissive and irritated attitude and the same line of interrogation. Tried showing him photos of the erythema/rash issue the dermatologist was concerned about but there's no way he actually saw anything glancing so quickly. He claimed facial erythema is atypical for lupus, yet Systemic Lupus Erythematosus exists. I tested negative for lupus but positive for Sjogren's SSB. Doc said no need for treatment. Later I learned it can damage your organs. My derm was pissed off by the way Dayal handled things. Dr Dayal was beyond patronizing and dismissive the entire time. Cried all the way home.

Horrible!! As an advanced nurse for over 42 years I can tell you this guy is a lunatic. He talks down to you, he is rude, and he lies to you especially when he thinks you may want to go on disability. I was diagnosed with lupus when I was 37 years old and I cannot locate the medical records because the doctor has retired but I’m still working on it. Dayal put my many symptoms off as chronic pain, told me Lupus has no pain, and told me to go to Ortho for injections!! He totally ignored my other symptoms and shut me down every time I tried to bring them up. Additionally, a GI doc I saw the day before warned him about me, and my appointment was moved up to today from February stating that was the soonest they had. Unbelievable BS. I’m going to report this to Atrium and I’m going to report it to the medical board. I have an appointment with another rheumatologist coming up and I am armed with a lot of research. I am too ill to work anymore and I’m sick of lame doctors!

Showed little to no concern for the overall treatment of the patient. Rushed through the patient review and exam while conversationally cutting off the patient several times. We canceled our follow-up appt because of such a bad experience. See someone else!

I have to agree with all the comments made by the Jan 2019 patient. My last office visit was the worse. I had to call the Dr down for having his phone interrupting our conversation to the point I could no longer hear what he was saying. He never apologized and he never really explained how he could help me for the painful gout. He told me to stop taking meds other doctors had prescribed and to come back when I had another painful attack. I stopped taking my meds and the next attack was awful.

I saw Dr. Dayal today and I have to say it was the worse experience I have ever had with a physician. He was beyond condescending and arrogant. He argued with every answer to every question I gave him. He was so unprofessional to basically disagree with every doctor I have seen in 30 years. That is a lot of doctors to get it all wrong. He did so without looking at any of my records or any test being done. I can assure I would live with any and all consequences of my illnesses before I ever grace

Dr. Dayel is a wonderful doctor and I don't normally like doctors. He found that I had PMR and treated me with such care. He has a wonderful sense of humor, puts me at ease, and was very supportive. He did say I needed to exercise in order to gain my strength and balance back, but he was so right about that.

I was very disappointed during my appointments with Dr. Dayal. He was condescending and talked down to me and I felt like he didn’t care about me and my illness but made me feel like I was just a number. Dr. Dayal may be very smart but needs to work in his bedside manner, rather than blaming the patient he needs to help address their needs and treatment. It was an awful experience!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Dayal?
Dr. Dayal was very unprofessional. I work in the medical field myself and he treated me like I am stupid. He kept making comments that the doctors that told me there was a reason behind my pain didn't know what they were talking about. He also stated that my labs meant nothing even though other providers had said otherwise. He was very short and seemed to not care. I was a new consult and he was only in the room fifteen and would not listen. I am extremely disappointed in this doctor.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Dayal. He was very short with me and seemed to be unconcerned about my medical problems. I have inflammation issues and arthritis throughout my body. He told me I have chronic pain (duh) and he does not treat that. I left feeling humiliated.

99% of visits Only told to exercise Nurse weighs you, takes your blood pressure, and ask how you're feeling today. Dr. comes in and totals numbers on sheet, ask about exercise, tells you to exercise more. Then, blood work. I missed one appt due to sudden family death & children who needed care. My appt. was focused on missed appt. not my RA. Wants a f/u In 2 mths. Next appt. almost 3 months out b/c no earlier appt available. Need dr to treat RA not lecture about missed appt. and exercise

Dr Dayal isn't very concered with his patients from what I can tell , the appointment took less than 10 minutes. looked at hands said look fine, said if my weight was less then I wouldn't have this problem. he is the only dr that takes are insurance but I won't be going back, he has held my prescritption to my humeria hostage until you go in and see him but then does nothing for you. The office staff is the only saving grace of this Dr .

I Wasn't impressed. Seemed more interested in my mental health & diminished my symptoms.Wasn't going back but talked to Primary. Had told him I could NOT take Nsaids, he either didn't care or didn't listen. At 2nd appt he Rxed a drug & I asked what it was & he said it was an anti inflammatory, so I thought it was something new, but got SEVERELY SICK, cramps, diarrhea, vomiting for 3+ days, found out it was an Nsaid. This is clearly negligence! He's also smirked that I'm now having mid back issues
