Dr. Ashvin Garlapati, DO

I like Dr. Garlapati and his staff. He is professional and well-spoken. The only thing I have to say is that I spent much more time with his assistants than I did with him. He was in and out of the room very quickly, and it made me feel like he did not care about my concerns. However, he could have just had a really busy day and a lot on his plate. Additionally, during the last few visits I spent at his office, we ended the encounter abruptly with little progress, dispite my persisting questions. In any case, I have been looking to find another dermatologist for my future needs.

Have been going to Dr. Garlapati since my last dermatologist retired my condition various minor cancers have been treat for about 10 years or so. Dr. Garlapati takes the time to explain what is going on what he is doing and always asks if I have any questions. He is concerned about leaving any scars but being in my 76th year it is not a big concern to me. A checkup every 6 months is what is now in store for me as we want to catch any cancers early before they have a chance to become something life threating. My cancers are minor compared to many and it is a skin type but if left untreated could become bad for me. I appreciate the doctors concern about me and that he checks me quite well. I will be seeing him in about 6 months for my next checkup.

I really like Dr. Garlapati. He explained what he was going to do for me and he was very friendly and to the point. He let me ask questions and his staff was so nice and professional. I had a very short wait time. I would recommend him to everyone !!!

Dr. Garlipati is awesome. He explained diagnosis and procedure to me, received results and follow-up appointment quickly. Never felt rushed or left with questions. He diagnosed a melanoma, it did not look like the pictures in magazines. It was tiny, a few freckles! He saved my life. During surgery, he was concerned for my comfort and care. Generally with something serious I go to a teaching hospital in Chicago....however I felt very comfortable having Dr. Garlipati handle this serious problem!

I arrived early to fill out the required paperwork as it was my first visit. I was seen at the exact time of my appointment. Dr. Garlapati and the staff were professional, polite, they listened to what I had to say and the entire process was quick and painless. Very good first experience.

Finally a doctor who cares I highly recommend him

Saw three eye doctors for my eyes that were burning. I was waking up every night because they would burn so bad and I had given up and I was miserable because I thought this was the rest of my life. I came into Dr. Garlapati for a seperate skin issue and I mentioned it to him. He looked at them and told me what it likely was given my skin problem. He put me on medication for both of them and my eyes are back to normal!!! I can't say how happy I am with this doctor. Amazing experience

Dr Garlapati knows his skin! Had a weird recurring rare rash that was giving me anxiety. After some testing, he told me what it was...treated it and then I was out! Efficient, doesn't waste time and I couldn't be happier. I send all my friends to him and they are happy to. Good to know they are some great doctors out there still!

A doctor who truly cares about his patients. I was so sick of seeing dermatologists who would spend 2 minutes with me and give me a cream and leave. He explained to me my issue in terms I could understand and after a decade he is the ONLY doctor who helped get my problem under control. My self esteem is back and I can't thank him and his staff enough. Thank You Dr. G!

Cleared all my acne and controlled my eczema which was giving me self esteem issues. Been to a couple other derms and they just threw creams at me. Talked about everything and helped me understand and cleared me. SO happy. Love this place!

Best doctors visit I've had. He actually cares about his patients. He's funny, and it makes a enjoyable visit. He's operated on me and he's a great surgeon...barely could see the scar a week later. Wish every doc had his bedside manner.
