My first meeting with Dr. Patel, I found them to be very patient obviously extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain every little detail to my satisfaction so that I felt extremely comfortable with my condition and the prognosis going forward

Dr. Patel performed a discectomy (L4-L5)on me earlier this month. I had tried all non-surgical options, but none provided lasting relief. Dr. Patel was recommended to me by my primary care physician. During my first meeting with Dr. Patel he was attentive and took his time in diagnosing and providing best options. Since he has done my surgery, I have been pain free - it is such a relief. I highly recommend him as well as all of his staff - physician assistant, nurse practitioner, scheduler, and others in the practice.

Dr. Patel performed a laminectomy on me. It was a delicate procedure. From the outset, he explained everything in great detail; the good and the bad. He was forthright and candid! He is a kind and a patient man. He cares about people and their quality of life. This is a terrific surgeon but an even better HUMAN! If you are looking for the best surgeon on the gulf coast; he’s the doctor of choice. May God Bless him and his staff always! Thank you for giving me my life back. I am grateful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel’s for two years now, he has performed three separate surgeries on my spine. This doctor is the one of the most caring people I’ve ever met, also his surgical skills are more than five star! An example of his caring, was when he called me at 10 o’clock in the evening on the night prior to my surgery because he had been thinking about my surgery all day, I mean what surgeon takes the time to do that? I give him SIX STARS!!!

My husband has had two back operations about 20 years apart by Dr. Patel . Then a few years ago, he had neck surgery by Dr. Patel. All went so very well, great recovery and results. No other doctor will be allowed to come near his back. The office staff and especially Sarah are WONDERFUL!

DR Patel recently performed lumbar revision surgery on my lumbar spine following a failed procedure done last fall.Thanks to his skill and knowledge I am on my way to regaining my health.His care before, during and after the surgery is the reason that I can highly recommend him.

I had a fracture in my neck at C5-6. After 2 MRI’s and a cat scan, Dr Patel finally found fracture. So 2months of walking with a broken neck, finally had surgery. Kennedy White orthopedics are the best. I highly recommend them. Experience and keeping me informed was top notch!

When visiting, he takes the time to review the case before addressing the patient. Make sure you under stand what is going on with you and allow for as many question to be asked so you do understand. Explains everything before proceeding with advice as to how to fix or help the situation. the staff was friendly and accommodating. The only problem was the amount time time it takes for the staff to return phone call or if they did at all. However, the overall experience was great.

Dr. Patel and Scott, Sara and the rest of the staff are very professional, helpful and most of all caring. I have suffered for years with back pain and did all the suggested things to prevent surgery therapy with the best therapist at KWOC Charlyn, spine injections with KWOC Pain team and after 5 years of trying to keep me out of the OR we finally did surgery in 2023 I had 4 levels fused to my pelvis and I can thankfully report 5 mo later I am pain free, recovery is a year but I have my life back and have been able to start to do the things I love the best kayaking, hiking, swimming etc. Thank you so much Dr. Patel & team

Dr. Patel makes sure he has tried other ways to relieve my lower back pain, by using physical therapy and spinal injections. He always told me that surgery should be the last option. When my spine continued to deteriorate, that is when he suggested surgery. Since my surgery I have been pain free. He and his P.A., Scott always took the time to review my status and answer any question I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and Scott.

Doctor Patel always takes the time to make sure you understand your issue and thoroughly explains the steps and procedures needed to correct it.

I am a 78 year old woman and had severe sciatic pain down my right hip and leg to the point I had difficulty walking. Due to Dr. Patel I am pain free after 3 weeks post-op of having a bi-lateral laminectomy and discsectomy. Once getting an appointment I had surgery the following week. Dr. Patel, Scott and Sara are a very knowledgeable, caring team and the pre-op and post -op care were exceptional. I am thankful his office and wonderful staff are located in Sarasota.

Had a laminectomy 6 weeks ago, and am now absolutely pain free. Dr. Patel did his magic on lumbar 2-5. I start physical therapy next week and look forward to getting back to golf, tennis and pickleball soon thereafter. I haven’t been able to stand up this straight in years. Thank you Dr. Patel!!

I was referred to Dr. Patel by Dr. Jobe at Restore in Venice for a herniated disc. What he & his assistant Scott did for me was outstanding. With Betty’s strong assistance, also I was set up for surgery in just a few days. They worked so hard for me & I will never forget it. The worst pain I ever had in my leg, & I’ve had a history over many years, was gone after the surgery!! Home from hospital never a pain pill needed.
