I would highly recommend. Dr Asim Merchant is very knowledgeable in many medical ailments. He has great patience & fantastic bedside manor. Being on the older side myself I have had major heart surgery & numerous minor ailments. He was concerned enough to advise me to get a second opinion regarding an arm/shoulder injury & willing provided a referral so insurance would cover it without hesitation. His team responds quickly to requests for prescription refills & questions. TOP Notch Doc!

I have never had a more caring, compassionate health care provider as Dr. Merchant. I have been to other health care providers in various specialities at Shands and none can compete the high bar established by Dr. Merchant. Even when I am out of town and need assistance, he quickly responds and I could not thank him enough as he consistently rises above the call of duty. You would be lucky to be under his care as he is never rushed and has such a pleasant disposition. So lucky to have him.

Dr. Merchant took the time to get to know me and to listen to what I had to say. He offered his expert opinion and didn't dismiss any of my concerns. It was my first time meeting him and I will definitely continue to go back. Front desk, LPN, and check out staff were all extremely kind.

Dr Merchant has helped both my wife and I deal with many painful issues including shoulder, knee and back pain. Each time his judgement was precise and excellent leading to a successful resolution. We have had good, bad and in a few instances outstanding doctors and are grateful that Dr Merchant is oneof the very best.
