Dr. Asrar Sheikh, MD

Several members of our family have been seeing Dr. Sheikh for several years. I think he is an excellent doctor, but he practices at Family Urgent Care in Schererville, IN. I have had problems with the staff. My wife suffers from dementia, and she has had occasional UTIs. I took a urine sample in about 2 weeks ago, but did not hear back from them. Finally I called, and a nurse practitioner told me the lab said the sample was too old. I took the sample in myself, and they had it within 1/2 hour after we got it. So somebody screwed up, either in the office or in the lab. But nobody called me to tell me there was a problem with it. I took another sample in, and they got the results late Thanksgiving night. Late Saturday I called to find out the results. If I hadn't called, I would probably still be waiting. Nobody called to tell me that she indeed did have another UTI. I love doctor sheikh ! He takes his time and answers all my questions ! He also has a great staff. The front desk girls are great at getting things done. Like ordering my prescriptions. And are very helpful !!

I took my father for his check up to Dr Asrar, Dr asrar was off but he come all the way from his indiana clinic to chicago clinic just to see my father. He is great doctor.
