Appointment scheduling
She is great, however I made an appointment over a year ago after an office visit for Monday the 14th, 2025 at 10AM. When I got there they said there was nothing scheduled for that day and the Doctor was not in that day. This was the 2nd time in 3 years this happened. I have left a couple of messages for Dr. Theo to call me with the staff since then as she 'was not in the office'. Doctor is great staff is questionable since apparently; they are not logging in all the appointments in their system.

Incompetent office staff
Nurses from Theo Dermatology came to the assisted living facility where my 92 year old mother lives to check on a growth on her arm. They took a sample and the test came back as cancerous. We made an appointment to go to the office to have a surgical procedure done to remove all edges of the cancerous spot. We waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes before the young receptionist came out to tell us that even though I gave them my mother’s insurance information, they couldn’t do the procedure today because they had to get all the medical “codes” to use before they can send in the insurance claim. So, is this the first time the doctor has done this procedure? Shouldn’t the codes already been know since the appointment was made? And why couldn’t the codes be researched while we sat for 30 minutes and then during the procedure? Don’t all insurance companies use the same coding system? So I had to take an elderly 92 year old out of the facility as well as waste my day for nothing.
