I have went to Dr Thacker many times and he has always been wonderful. I know he wants me to get well and orders the appropriate tests.

Provider was clear during discussions and made sure I understood what was needed.

Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors was amazing. I highly recommend this team for anyone who needs any type of surgery.

I have received care from Dr Atul Thakker for the last 10 years. He is always very professional. He explains things in a way I can understand. He is kind. I had him for my emergency surgery two years ago. I feel very confident knowing he will do my upcoming surgery.

This man does deserve these rave reviews. Sure, he can cut open a body and remove an organ, that is the skill he’s trained do. Good job. You did the bare minimum. What you totally messed up is you gave my brother total false hope by telling him that his very rare and aggressive cancer was going to be fixed by a colectomy. In fact, after the surgery, you told him, my sister and myself he had nothing at all to worry about. Guess what, you were really wrong. I obviously knew you were full of it, but I didn’t want to upset him by telling him that, because IT IS YOUR JOB to tell him all the possible outcomes and you didn’t. You are a disgrace and so is Providence hospitals for keeping providers like you on staff. You should be ashamed of yourself. You were nowhere to be found after his appendectomy to tell him he had cancer the first time and you were nowhere to be found to tell him the cancer spread after the colectomy (he found out through MY CHART!!

I wish he was my everything provider but I realize he has a lot of people that need his help. Good experiences that he is to the point and shows confidence as well as understanding. I just wish my body would quit being a weakling. Over my lifetime I have not had had great experiences with all doctors and he is one of two that especially get my vote of confidence.
