I made an appointment for a booster shot for shingles and was told beforehand that I should expect to be in and out in 15 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later...still no shot. The office was virtually empty. I was told that they had to tell another patient that they had cancer. As a cancer patient myself I do not understand why someone couldn't give me a simple injection then return to the other patient. During covid I called in for a broad spectrum antibiotic. The 3 minute phone call cost me a fortune as it was billed as a video visit that never happened. I've had hypertension for years with no change in medication by this doctor. My new doctor has remedied the HTN on the first visit while Paullsen insisted it was "White Coat Syndrome". Even after telling her that my sister died at 59 from HTN. Completely incompetent...but will give you an earful about her son and personal life.

My doctor for 20 years.
She knows so much, but if she needs to refer she knows the best. I was diagnosed with cancer and she found me the best surgeon. (PS I’m doing great thanks to her).

Absolutely horrible office. Dr. Paulson while having no real bedside manner is a thorough doctor but the has office has steadily gone downhill over the years. Trying to get appointment is a big joke. After waiting five months for my physical they canceled the appointment a couple days before and then wanted to give me another appointment five months in the future with no apology or any explanation. This is the type of person I want to trust my health with I don’t think so. I would not recommend anybody to go here.

I saw Dr. Paulssen October of 2019 and she wrongly diagnosed me with COPD (which I do not have) and MISSED MY STAGE 3B LUNG CANCER. I told her I could not catch my breath when I exercised, and also that I had edema in my legs. She had her tech give me a little breathing thing and diagnosed COPD without sending me for an X-ray. When she felt the swelling in my ankles and legs, she told me to eat less fast food. She gets one star only because I can't leave no stars. If I had not gone to another doctor I would have died.

I'm changing my insurance plans. The person answering the phone was extremely lazy. The young lady told me to call the insurance company! She doesn't know if they accept "the plan" I was inquiring about. Since when doesn't the office know which plans they accept?

She's very knowledgeable and I always feel like I'm getting the correct diagnosis or advice. She makes it a point to not rush the annual check-ups and asks me repeatedly if there is anything new or different.
