Dr. August Bruno, MD

I had gone to Dr. Bruno for 15 years. About 7 years ago I developed severe period pain and pain during intercourse. It effected myself and my significant other greatly. He said it could be endometriosis but didnt want to do the required test for diagnosis, and it wasnt curable anyway. He kept telling me to just take a pain pill before sex, even though that didnt help. The pain was disrupting my life and my relationship. I had additional concerns when my partner and I started discussing having kids. I would bring it up every visit and he would just shrug it off. I switched doctors and was diagnosed with pelvic floor disfunction after 1 visit. After 2 months of physical therapy the pain is GONE! I can't believe I suffered for so long over something with a simple diagnosis and with a relatively easy fix. Wish I has switched sooner.

After seeing a different OBGYN for my first prenatal appointment at another practice and leaving the office in tears, I asked around and was pointed toward Dr. Bruno. He was an absolute godsend. He was always there for any of my concerns and was the perfect amount of chill that I needed during my first pregnancy. During delivery, he showed up at the exact second I needed him there and I couldn't be happier to have had him along through my pregnancy from start to finish. I will always recommend him to any and all.

I am very blessed of knowing Dr. Bruno. I was so concerned about cancer, that I wasn't able to sleep for months just worrying about it that I actually got sick. Once I went to visit him, he was very clear explaining all the details and for the first time in my life I was able to trust a doctor. I am a person that need to know everything that has to do with me, not sugar coat nothing. I hate when a doctor sugar coat details and can't explain why some do that. Dr. Bruno been up front with me with everything. What I love about him that he doesn't charge conventions about the medical details and tries to confuse a person when they are nervous and can't think straight. This is the first time I ever had a male doctor, I just never felt comfortable with male doctors and gave him a chance to be my doctor. Thank You Dr. Bruno for being who are as a doctor. CRC

Many visits for 22 years. Always professional. Very caring and interested in knowing about you as a person. Has always had his focus on what was needed for my care.

Dr. Bruno pressured me to have an induction so my baby’s birth would be on his time instead of my body’s. Once I went into labor naturally he asked the nurses to give me pitocin without ever confirming this with me. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Bruno if you want any say over your labor and delivery.

I needed to find a surgeon to do a Hysterectomy and Rectocele repair. I felt blessed to find Dr. Bruno. I was very anxious and needed someone that I could feel confident with. He listens and explains everything. You never feel rushed. The day of surgery all of the nurses stated how great of a Dr. he was. The office is run efficiently. He returns messages quickly. If you are having concerns and need to be seen, he gets you in right away. I feel he is an excellent surgeon and really cares about you.

Dr Bruno is a kind patient physician who delivered both my kids. And he remembered them and asks about them and my Mom(who thought she was his assistant while I was in labor lol). He answers all my questions and when procedures were necessary he explained them in great detail. I trust him and look forward to the day when my daughter will have a baby I trust him to deliver my grandkids.

Very happy I decided to go to Doctor Bruno, as most Of my family does too. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and it makes it easier to trust him during such an important time. During my pregnancy he explained everything to Me as it came up and addressed any questions I had thoroughly. Was quick in sending over paperwork, nursing staff was super friendly, And when it came time to deliver he was there checking on me and came quickly when there were complications that resulted in a c section in the middle of the night. It was easy to trust that my baby and I were in good hands when it came time to deliver. He makes the best decision for the mother and child. I would highly recommend him.

I moved to this practice around 15w. Nursing staff was very rude to me & was dropped for refusing care from one nurse! Was also given a hard time about needing back brace due to pain so I could continue to work. Knowing I had back problems before my pregnancy. After that my pain wasn't real. Questioned why I didn't find another doctor closer to me since there's plenty in buffalo. Mind you I don't live in buffalo. Dr. Bruno is such a great doctor. He makes me feel extremely comfortable with asking any questions or dealing with any concerns I may be having. I would highly recommend him.

While be delivered to the emergency room or an emergency c-section, was asked if I wanted my son to have be circumcised by Dr. Bruno. Even though I had no idea what the sex of the baby was, a nurse needed to correct him and said, if it’s a boy you mean, right doctor? In addition, while I was being cut open, Dr. Bruno said to another doctor - ah, it’s so nice not to have to cut into so much fat, isn’t doc?

I drive over an hr to his office and I will continue to. He is extremely intelligent, kind, professional, and straight forward. I can ask him him anything and trust that he will give me the best advice. I use to see to his father before he took over the practice. He delivered my last 4 and his father my 1st 2. I am never rushed when I need more time to ask questions. To me there is no other dr for me and my daughters will see him when they are ready for an ob/gyn.

My first experience with pregnancy/childbirth was with Dr.Bruno. His Staff was always friendly. I never had to wait to see him. Through the "my chart" I was able to send messages in which he promptly responded. I had a great delivery with good bedside manor. I would recommend Dr.Bruno.

He has a great bedside manner. Addresses concerns without making you feel embarrassed. Performed a partial hysterectomy on me, and was caring and suuportive throughout the process. I'm amazed at how little time you spend in his waiting room...once, I was out before my scheduled appointment time. He has always been competent and sensitive. Highly recommend.

An egregious office error left me standing in the hospital being told I was having a miscarriage. (I wasn't) He immediately quipped back that his office made no mistake, and only later had his office call to apologize about the serious mistake they did in fact make. Next visit was terse and dismissive. Switched doctors. If he could get over his ego, he'd be a great doctor.

Dr Bruno delivered all six of my children. He is professional compassionate and a brilliant doctor. I am grateful for him Brit there at the most beautiful time in my life

Dr.Bruno is an amazing Dr. I highly recommend him for anyone needing gynocological surgery. He is an amazing Dr. He was kind and caring every step of the way. He was very informative about my surgery and all the procedures. And as a plus he's pretty cute too. He's definitely deserves a 5 star rating. ??

Dr. Bruno has a way of making what can be an uncomfortable visit, comfortable. He is very compassionate, caring, and he does not make you feel embarrassed to ask questions. He throws an occasional joke in during a visit, which also helps cut some tension. I would highly reccomend him!

Dr. Bruno is very considerate about patient's concerns and responds quickly!
