I am writing as a mom whose daughter suffers from a rare stomach condition. Dr. Pryor is the best of the best. She took care of my daughter as though she were her own. She is exceptionally smart, professional and competent to say the least. Her staff is A-MAYYYZING!!!. They gave me their personal emails and cell phone numbers when I was worrying about my daughter's health; asked that I call anytime to help with insurance issues, followed up for us to ease the stress we were all going through because of my daughter's condition. By the way, Dr. Pryor, after visiting 3 other doctors, was the only specialist to diagnose my daughter.

Pros: She is by far the best surgeon in the area, and possibly high up there with the top gastrointestinal surgeons of the world. She can literally take your stomach, esophagus and intestines out, rearrange everything and put it back in working condition. Would I want anyone else doing extensive and invasive gastrointestinal surgery one me? No way!! Cons: Let’s talk about the office staff. I was dying at one point and they gave me an attitude problem?!? The NP there is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever come in contact with. I complained of pain and later found out it was a very serious situation. The NP got mad at me!?! I was basically septic and the NP was mad? Seems a bit strange for a medical professional? The office staff is overworked and their ‘tudes show it. I was very ill and my calls were avoided on purpose. I assure you I don’t call or complain unless it’s serious. I walked around with a collapsed lung for 2 weeks, I’m not a wimp. If a patient says they’re in

Dr Pryor is an excellent surgeon. She is very straightforward in her communication. However, in all other matters, she seems to defer to her staff & does not examine the validity of their information and opinions. My medical history taken by her staff was full of errors to which she was indifferent. Her NP Darragh is unpleasant, critical & personalizes issues to the detriment of patients. I finished all requirements for surgery but changed offices because I felt traumatized by my contact w them

I’m 3 weeks into my surgery and feel great. The doctors and staff are amazing. Explained step by step on what to expect and it made it easier for me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pryor to anyone who is interested in losing weight.

I NEEDED DR.PRYOR BECAUSE A LAPBAND PUT IN BY ANOTHER DR. WAS CAUSING ME TO CHOKE AND THROW UP WATER AND FOOD. SHE WENT THROUGH ALL THE TESTS TO MAKE SURE THE DECISION TO MOVE IT WAS RIGHT. THE DR WHO PUT IT THERE DIDN'T RESPOND WHEN I HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ISSUE AND DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO CHECK. DR.PRYOR HOWEVER;HAS ALLOWED ME TO LIVE AGAIN AS I SURELY THOUGHT I WOULD DIE FROM THE CHOKING ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS. SHE IS VERY PERSONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I RECOMMEND HER .
