My GI Doctor
Dr A Patel has taken excellent care of me and my family members for many years. He is very knowledgeable, skilled in endoscopy and also very kind. A great addition at Kaiser.

Dr. Avinash did my colonoscopy and endoscopy dual procedure along with biopsies. Immediately after the procedures, i started having severe pain in my upper and lower abdominal. It's been a month, I'm in severe pain and he was least responsive throughout this time. I had to go to emergency, urgent care to take care of my situation. Still suffering from acute pain and this doctor told me to primary care after multiple attempts to reach out to him. How can a primary care doctor know more about abdominal issues better than a GI doctor, it's hard for me to understand. This doctor will cause issues to your body and then will not show any responsibility for it. The doctor will not do any attempt to work on the issues. The most negligent doctor I have seen in my entire life. Please do not take chance with this doctor. Feel free to reach out if you need more details.

I don't understand the one star review and comment at all. Dr. Patel was excellent, kind and caring. His bedside manner is impeccable compared to other doctors.

Dr. Patel was patient and thorough. He explained our situation in terms we could all understand. He even came to visit mom and reassure us she was going to be ok. Instead of waiting for us to see the Rheumatologist (10 days after seeing Dr. Patel) he picked up the phone and called the head of the dept to see if we could start a course of action or order tests before our appt. Most doctors do the minimum, Dr. Patel is the exception to the rule.
