One stop shop
I’ve been coming to this facility over 7 years and the wait time has improved tremendously. I did not have to wait a long time to set up the appointment and once set, wait time in reception was very reasonable. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Blood test technician was very nice and caring always checking to see if I was ok while she drew blood. Dr. Retter listened careful to my concerns and arranged it so another doctor surgeon checked my concern the same day. (Dr. Larsen was also great bc he took the time to discuss test results and followed up with referral to another specialist I inquired about.) I was very grateful to be able to dispose of my worry without having to wait weeks for an appointment. Loved the one stop shop aspect of the practice and feeling being treated like a person, not just a medical case/number.

Excellent experience
Staff was all cordial and efficient; techs were always good with drawing bloods. Dr. Retter is very caring and went out of his way to call my gastroenterologist about symptoms that were concerning him.

I believed in Dr. Retter when I first met him. He seemed know quite a lot about my blood condition and its origin. Because he gave very restrictive directions to my primary care provider for procedures and expressed concerns I felt like he was taking his job too seriously, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I lasted visited him in December 2021 and since this whole COVID situation is fairly new to the medical profession with managing it, I don't feel Dr. Retter cared about what I expressed or my concerns. Doctors need to be more empathetic to patients who should concerns or give adequate responses to questions. Because COVID is such a black and white situation in the medical field right now, the grey area is highly ignored. Medicine is suppose to help in being preventive. Ordering Blood work to be drawn is an easy alternative to then have a conversation with patients about where they stand.
