Dr. Avinash Chenam, MD

I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Chenam. He is kind, respectful and great at what he does. When I needed urgent answers from him, he and his staff were responsive and helpful. He listens and is happy to answer any questions or concerns. I never felt rushed or disrespected. Would absolutely choose him again.

Dr Chenam is very knowledgeable and empathetic. He removed a mass from my right kidney and I was in surgery for only 1.75 hours and was released the very next day.

An Excellent Doctor that he explained the procedure in his office that surgery would be done in office in San Bernardino and would take about 20 minutes. Im doing very well thanks to Dr.Chenam this new procedure called the Urolift. For me its a better way of life.

Dr. Chenam is young, enthusiastic, and positive. He discussed my case in detail and arranged for a quick follow up. I would highly recommend Dr. Chenam. Unfortunately, when I called his Apple Valley office to find out which office I was to appear for my appointment, I encountered a very rude and incompetent woman who treated me like garbage, claiming I had no appointment and she couldn't make one for over a month. I'm 73, and I have never been treated so poorly by staff in a medical facilithy.

I was recommended to him after my urologist tried unsuccessfully to remove my kidney stones. Dr Chenam got me into surgery in 2 days and removed all the stones. So happy to not have any more pain from trying to pass the stones. He's a young talented surgeon.

Dr. Chenam preformed a partial nephrectomy on me for suspicious mass. He was right in taking me to surgery . I was confirmed to have had RCC. Surgery went well, Dr Chenam removed all the cancer. I had minimal pain, no complications. Pre op and post op care was excellent . Dr. Chenam is a very skilled and talented Doctor. I would definitely recommend him.

With a stroke of luck my general practice doctor recommended Dr Chenam for emergency kidney assistance. His friendly approachable office got me in to see the doctor quickly and that night I was in the hospital (St. Bernardine Medical Center) and a procedure was done the next day. Had robotic surgery Aug 2020 and this is the Dr. you want to do your surgery. Met DR. Chenam in a ER in May 2020 when I wasn't able to void my bladder. Had a follow up with DR. Chenam and he informed me he could fix my problem. I'd been waiting for years to hear that , my other Drs. would say lets wait and see. Dr. Chenam did the surgery in Aug and remover 80% of my enlarged prostate. Everything is ack to normal. GREAT Dr.

I had a robotic prostatectomy on 12-17-2019. Very personable young man, great bedside manner, and very professional. The nurses held him in high regard which is big. He visited me morning and night while I was in hospital, he seemed to really care. That's why I'll give him a 5 star rating.

Dr. Chenam is compassionate, empathetic, and does not rush through appointments. I wish all medical professionals were like him.

Had Robotic Prostate Surgery on 9/25/19. Dr. Chenam was very knowledgeable, competent and was very attentive after surgery. Everything went extremely well. The hospital and nurses were all very good. Thank you Doctor for saving my life.
